"You can learn movement, hand posts, hip switches, hip drops, and many other specific details. You can also learn about grip and frame." "Passing is about breaking your opponent's frame, and this allows you to break it in a variety of detailed ways."
Awesome details on HQ passing!
I can really feel that my guard passing skills have improved by several levels!
Brilliant for those wanting to improve HQ
I bought this Instructional because I find myself quite often in the Headquartes-Position and wanted to know more about ways to handle my partner's possible reactions and defenses. Danny and Nick are great Instructors, I especcially like their back-and-forth-style of teaching which keeps it interesting and points out key elements very good. The techniques shown are also very broad and clear to understand. So why only three stars? First, there is almost no talk about HOW TO GET INTO THE POSITION, which for an instructional that advertises itself as "for all skill levels" is a MUST have in my opinion. It scratches the entry from delariva, that's it. Also, there is no "bringing it all together / recap", which for example Lachlan Giles and Garry Tonon do (really well) in their instructionals. Basically: This Instructional is stuffed with really good content but it lacks a beginning and an end. Still a good instructional that, with about half an hour more content at the beginning and the end, could easily be an awesome, five-star-instructional!
👍👍👍👍 top

Excellent, detailed instruction. What you'd want in a passing system.
Teaches you a very well thought out system for passing from the HQ positon that dosnt require much athleticism and is very effective.
Probably the best headquarters passing system out there. Well explained.
Very good instructions
the video is per se really good. moreover, the formula of two teacher is really innovative and valid.
amazed at how detailed this instructional is. clear and concise communication, contrasting Gi colors of the professor/s assist the viewer to see details on the grips/positions or any body placements, last but not the least the resolution and lighting of the videos are amazing. Great Job and of course, Superb Instructional for those who would like to add, and improve their knowledge in Headquarters position
Attacks from HQ position have been my favorite techniques since I was a blue belt and I am quite good at it. But this video taught me new approaches and opened my eyes further for HQ position. This video is really based on solid system and the instruction is easy to understand. Absolutely recommended.
WHEN WILL BELT GRIP MODI HQ BE OUT????
Amazing video! It helped me to have more solid HQ position with multiple guard passing options. If you are top player, I strongly recommend you purchase this instructional video.
Danny and Nick are a fantastic duo when it comes to instruction. It’s not often you get 2 spectacular teachers able to give you the do’s and the do not’s on the headquarters position. If you want a deep dive on this style of guard passing, definitely get this!’
I love how deeply Nick and Danny explain everything, it makes me really understand why I would do one thing compared to another.
