  Sensei Travis Stevens created an comprehensive compendium about ne waza. His style of teaching is simplification and hitting the keypoints easy to follow with general giudelines. For every shown technique he offers the why's and how's and recounters to counters for defensive and offensive techniques. Y.ou can clearly seperate which are for judo only and which ones are for jiu jitsu Absolute recommendation!!

  White belt in Judo here, but I have been doing BJJ most of my adult life. Travis Stevens' Ne Waza DVD is top notch! His instruction is clear and understandable, the angles are perfect in capturing each nuance, and the selection of techniques - very useful. My sincere hope is that Travis will put together a solid fundamental Judo set which will cover each respective throw and perhaps application in competition and/or self defense situations. This would be a great resource for someone like me looking to move up the ranks and shave a bit off the learning curve. Again, this is a top notch instructional which will be a strong ally in greatly improving your Judo. Thank you Travis.

  I have to give credit where it is do. This is one of the best dvds on ground control, attacks and escapes from a judo master. The material is well thought out and explained in simplistic terms. Fantastic. I urge everyone to get this dvd. This is my first review on the many dvds I have bought. Fantastic. Been doing this now for 4 years and I picked up so much. I wish Professor Travis would give seminars on this.
