Fantastic as usual from the BJJ master.
This instructional was by far another great product. If you don't purchase any of Danaher's products you're missing out.
If i really want to learn something from the ground i go to Danaher. This is a lot of information on the subject, and as always great material.
As always I learn key details that I wish I would have learned way earlier in my bjj career
Well thought and structured! Loved all the concepts and the way they were explained.
Great Video, excellent explained
Great stuff from the profesor
Great conceptual escape and counter system by the best teacher in the game.
I'm no special talent but I wanted to attack with more confidence, Danaher's instructions for sub and pin escapes really helped
Another great series from John Danaher, who's not only my favorite BJJ thought leader but probably the most systematic and methodical teacher out there in the planet earth.
Worth every penny. Every video John puts out I have to get. Such a refreshing look at turning escapes into attacks, putting your opponent on the back foot. The new wave jj system has took my game to another level - thank you!
5star
Great details as usual by John.
As I would expect from a Danaher video, this is thorough in delineating both principle and application. While I probably got this too early in my journey (many of the specific moves are too advanced for me) the concepts are still quite useful. I have been able to use some these escapes in live rolls with decent success even with poor mechanical execution. More importantly, the mindset of escaping to set up an offensive cycle has given me a North Star to follow. A noteworthy side benefit is that it has helped me better understand what a good submission entails: levers, fulcrums, positioning, etc. I look forward to what will undoubtedly be many revisits of the content.
Excellent video with great details on the system of escapes.
Really enjoying this!
John Danaher’s counter attack perspective vs recovery to neural, has been a game changer in my rolling. It has helped me better chain my attacks together. I would strongly recommend this video for competitive rollers.
Previously I used the tap method to escape submissions but now I try and use this instructional videos techniques. 100% recommend. Well explained as always.
I’ve only just began my journey in Jiujitsu, still a white belt, but I compete regularly and needed to step up my game, specifically my defensive game. In this series, John Danaher provides a clear and complete system of submission escapes that will truly add to your abilities, regardless of your skill level. I believe what he says is absolutely true in that you must have a cast iron defense. The ability and confidence to escape from submissions and at the same time, return with an attack of your own, will set you apart from your peers. The ability to have instant access and download the videos make it even more convenient to watch and learn from. I have watched and drilled all these videos multiple times and will continue to do so throughout the future. I can not recommend this series enough.
A friend I train with, recommended I check out this content. Best advice for someone starting out Jiu-jitsu for the first time. I love all content bjj fanatics has to offer. Thank you!
Very in depth. I've been trying to hit some of the submission escapes each rolling practice. Some of this honestly was beyond me, as a white belt. I don't do leg locks or leg entanglements much until about blue belt. The higher belts I roll with are good about not leg locking us newbies.
Super techniques as always by Danaher. I love his instructionals they’re invaluable and priceless
Amazing knowledge .Thanks
John Danaher is amazing, the smallest detail he provides changes the entire way I think about a position. I’ve been using these techniques with success in the gym. I couldn’t recommend this video enough and every other John Danaher instructional as well.
Great intructional video!
