Another masterclass from Danaher
This no-gi guard passing instructional is simply amazing. John Danaher covers pretty much all the different types of guard passing from loose toreandos and leg drags to tight body locks and side body locks. He goes into incredible detail and simplifies the objective of guard passing so that even if you have not learnt all the moves, in rolls and sparring, you are able to have some sense of direction to help guide your movements.
I feel like I wa deeper understanding of passing the guard after this course. Fellow training partners always compliment me on my guard passing which is due to Danaher's course.
Great details
very thorough and highly effective methods
Danaher teaching his jiu jitsu as system has helped me so much, it helps me structure my thinking and make quicker links, making my game so much better
I like how Danaher uses just a few "technique blocks" to answer the majority of issues one has when fighting opponent's guard. Torreandos, floating passing, body locks and half guard passes to get the job down. Makes things much clearer and easier.
I always come back to this one. guard passing that stands the rest of time.
I love the whole New Wave Series. It's fantastic. So much, details, concepts and strategies. The Bible of NoGi Guard Passing.
Watching the video has changed and improved my guard passing so much. Thank you Sensei John D:man-bowing:
Very nicely detailed for folks starting to advance their skillset. Even for highly advanced folks the minor details mentioned are often not understood.
