As a green belt in judo/black II in Bjj I love no gi judo, so far technique is crisp and good, wish it was better in english or even subtitled.
Lots of important details discussed that I have overlooked before
Crazy Value, exactly what i wanted
I'm 65 started BJJ late in life, 1 and a half years ago, need to improve everything, obviously, on top had no take down skills. New Wave Judo was the perfect instructional to start my study to jump start take downs.
Satoshi covers most all judo throws and trips here.
Satoshi Ishii does a great job of teaching some of Judo's most effective throws without the GI
Little details make big results
great details
Satoshi Ishii has developed a No Gi judo game that is easy to implement and based on basic wrestling tie ups that makes it easier for non judo grapplers to implement his techniques.
A good instructional satoshi explains everything with great detail but sometimes due to his lack of english his explanations fall a little bit short.
Satoshi's explanations are good but sometimes his lack of english makes the explanation a little bit short but overall a good intructional for judo style takedowns
Liking this video a great deal
Satoshi is a great instructor, even though English isn't his first language (It's not mine either). He shows everything you need to know as is very clear.
Great content. Very practical and easy to implement
The break down is amazing. Very technical but easy to follow
There's a lot of content out there that does not address realistic reactions and as a result some Judo throws become low percentage. Satoshi does a great job of addressing setups, off balancing and weight/power distribution. It'll be great (BJJ Fabatics) if we had close captioning for some of these videos. I know there's a ton of instructors with thick accents.
good
Awesome
Very helpful
this is my second video on No Gi judo by Satoshi Ishii. I have also attended one of his seminars recently. I found his instruction easy to follow and effective techniques after a short period of drilling.
Great techniques for NO GI!
tons of bookmarks in this one.
Very detailed instructional. Shows entry from different angles. Can be a little difficult to hear because of the echo in the gym and english not being his first language. Regardless the detail he shows with the footwork and hand placement make it easy to pick up.
makes me a threat on my feet
Saving me from doing bad double legs
