The Definitive Guide to Control of Stand-up Engagements and Introducing your Opponent to the Mat Without his Permission.
I first saw Rick Hawn burst onto the MMA scene years ago, the image of him finishing off his opponent with a dynamic, textbook seoi-nage burned into my memory. Rick, in case anyone didn't know, is an accomplished Olympic Judoka who made an even more successful splash in the MMA world for a six year career. Naturally, some of his most formidable weapons are the extensive arsenal of his judo throws, seamlessly applied without the gi in dynamic fighting situations. As a bonus, Rick has an excellent ability to clearly teach the unbalancing, entry and executions of the throws, and for the definitive guide on no-gi applications of classical throws, look no further. As an instructor or a student, you won't be disappointed with this excellent instructional piece.

Coming from gi bjj I was clueless about where to grip in nogi, so just watching these gave me an idea of how to grip for takedowns etc. for me it was a part of the nogi-introduction

Rick flows threw the lessons, so its easy to follow. I recomend this video because i think it makes learning takedowns less scary compared to trying to learn traditional gi throws. I gained a new understanding of kuzushi from a no gi perspective. Rick is also easy to follow as an instructor!

Great Techniques for using Judo in any situation whether its for grappling competitions or MMA. The techniques shown are clearly explained and very detailed, and believe to be also used in a self-defense situation.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Very informative
Excellent instruction by an Olympian. Definitely worth the $$. I put it up there with the Luke Harris & Nick Tritton Instructionals. All are top quality instruction.

Handy easy to follow instructions
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Lead arm tie
Seems most the setups are lead arm lead leg collar ties which can get you punished with singles if you are not careful. It never goes over that situation. I would not recommend to someone just starting throws, trips, takedowns etc.
I love it !!
Simple, effective and well adapted takedowns for No gi ! As a beginner with judo style takedowns, he also explains what most of the japanese terms mean, which I found helpful This is my go to takedown instructional atm

Very easy simple instructional. Love the details as well as the way he demonstrated the techniques. Takedowns are often forgot in BJJ but every match starts in the feet. Great video.
