Great
So much detail! This is my third time to watch this section and just trying to put all the fine points into muscle memory. Great Training!
John Danaher's "Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster" is an exceptionally comprehensive and deeply conceptual instructional for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners looking to solidify their defensive game. Clocking in at over 10 hours, this volume from the "Go Further Faster" series meticulously breaks down the mechanics, strategies, and underlying principles of escaping pins and navigating the turtle position. Danaher's teaching style is famously detailed and philosophical. While some may find his approach verbose or a "slog" to get through, those who appreciate a thorough understanding of the 'why' behind each movement will find immense value. The techniques themselves are highly effective and applicable to both gi and no-gi jiu-jitsu, aiming to make you significantly harder to control and submit. Who is it for? This instructional is best suited for dedicated students of all levels who are serious about building a robust defensive foundation and are willing to invest the time to absorb Danaher's systematic approach. While beginners can benefit, the sheer volume and conceptual depth might be less immediately accessible than some other fundamental instructionals. Key takeaway: If you want to truly understand the systems behind pin and turtle escapes and are prepared for a deep dive, this instructional is a goldmine. It's less about quick fixes and more about instilling a profound understanding that can transform your defensive capabilities on the mat.

amazing
The videos have been great.
This courses teaches sticky fundamentals that you can carry along with you throughout your "career". Examples are: foot higher than your knees, get your opponents head in the same side as theirs knees, get your head inside your opponents chest, frames in which you can be confortable when you reach their knees and many sweeps. Watch it along with his other course Side Attacks - Building a Devastating Side Control System, so you can see the other side and understand how the opponent might be frustrating your attempts.
Fantastic instructional, very informative and useful information with detailed explanations.
