A great philosophy/system that gives you extreme control over your opponents leading to high percentage submissions. Really shuts down traditional escapes. These concepts will reinvent the way people think about control in jiu-jitsu.
These concepts are great. Craig is a great teacher. I have been training some MMA as well and these concepts transfer over very well. Adding these to my game has been fun.
A very different perspective on the philosophy of traditional pins in jiu jitsu. Been taking the ideas and concepts from this instructional and adding them into my game. I feel like it has most definitely improved my top game and increased my ability to convert pins into submissions.
Reinvented my top game
Good instructional that changes the way you think about your gane
Whole new idea about pinning - really refreshing
Jiu-jitsu 2.0!
I can tell you these techniques work because quite frankly they help me control my toddler son when it's time to trim his toenails. If you don't have kids, let me tell you, there is not a stronger being on this earth than a toddler that doesn't want his toenails trimmed. These techniques work on him and training partners.
Completely changed my perspective on playing top game
Something else for sure. Not for IBJJF point fighting system or any point fighting system. More of an wrestling/mma approach.
Changes with way you look at control for the better.
The value of this instructional is that it’s very different than most instructionals you see. Craig Jones is thinking outside the box: What are the best control techniques if you ignore trying to score points? Focusing on strong control where escape is difficult (or at least unfamiliar to the traditionally trained BJJ player), we find different pins work. I appreciate the contrarian way of thinking here, and it will surely diversify and expand your tool kit on the mats. I’ve started trying leg-splitting pins and the stacked mount at the knees, and they worked really well (until my instructor told me to work my mount higher, where I then lost control!) The only improvement that I’d have liked to see was better audio quality when Craig Jones is facing away from the camera, but that doesn’t detract from the real value of the series.
Craig explains clearly how these techniques can change your top game completely, very detailed and helpful with many different parts of my game.
One of the few instructionals I’ve sat through to completion in one sitting.
Super practical for adding some control and menace to your top game. Not too long, which is great. Feels like a game-changer for pinning. Really good details on the submissions. I'm leaving this review so I can earn points to by Power Bottom asap. That's how good it is.
Very well formatted instructional, loved watching it. Found it helpful on the mat as well!
Killer stuff in here. Highly recommend to anyone looking up their top game.
Amazing instructor and immediately useful technique
Excellent video! It helped bring my top game to another level and really helped me control larger grapples.
This is great!
Good, jiu jitsu focused instruction on wrestling leg and top rides.
This product helped with my controls and connections that lead to more subs. Thank you
Craig has done it again. Jiu jitsu is becoming a hybrid with wrestling and Craig is on the cutting edge of the revolution.
Craig Jones is one of the best teachers in the game right now
Worth the money!
