Its essentially danaher giving context to warm up drills and why we do them the way we do and in which scenarios you use each movement This instructional is usually "on sale" for 0$... Its danaher, its free and you dont need a training partner to drill
Brilliant free course, easy to follow. Easy to understand. John does a great job here of communicating the basic underlying movements required for a wide range of skills needed when on the mats. This has helped me immensely and probably would have paid for the course. Thanks
Pretty good as far as I can tell. However, the intro is quite long and long-winded. Once you get past that, it’s golden.
Even for someone who has been training for some time and has seen most if not all of these drills, Danaher still provides details and ways of thinking about the movements that provides a-ha moments. Highly recommended for new and experienced practitioners alike!
So much thought goes into these workouts
Absolutely amazing stuff from JD as always. He is one of the top instructors who explains everything in great detail.
good for new comers
This video came in handy during the worst parts of the quarantine time period; you know, when people couldn't breathe near each other. It kept those foundational movements fresh.
Great drills
Very informative, good breakdown, of why exercises should be drilled, exeptional teacher.
Very logical and systematic approach
Good for the price
Great overall instructional. Easy to follow
Mobility is usually underestimated, this course helped me a lot with my mobility aand cardio during rolls!
This will help you maintain and even improve your ability to do jiu-jitsu off of the mats, with solo training routines, and the importance of shadow grappling and the mental aspects of learning jiu-jitsu
Good content
As said in the series' description, this is a great gift.
I've been waiting for the light to come on in BJJ as I'm a 51 year old white belt without much dexterity. This video series is a MUST HAVE to help bridge the gap and give you a fundamental understanding of core philosophies and the reasoning behind them. I wish I would of started with this series.
Don't be fooled by the price tag. This is probably the only instructional you will need for your first months of BJJ. Even if you've been in the game for a while, you will still find out quite a few things you hadn't picked up correctly. I really wish I had seen this when I'd first started - it would've made my progress much faster. Just a word of wording: Beware this might get you hooked on John Danaher !!
Can't believe this is free. Excellent content.
Great exercises and solo improvement drills. Good to see some solo/shadow training for Jiu Jitsu.
Really good solo bjj training drills. Everything Danaher does is golden.
This video was very useful. Especially in my first year of Jiu Jitsu. You must be able to perform those moves if you want to improve your game !
Great way to improve your mobility and ability to performe on the mat or just to active recovery
Great useful drills.
