John Danaher really explains things systematically and in detail. Not only will you learn exactly how to do it, but also why its effective.
Excellent instructional, great for warming up with a purpose and and an excellent workout for lockdown :call_me_hand::call_me_hand::call_me_hand:
Good stuff when times were dark :)
Not sure, never received it but still hopeful Hopefully everyone is having an amazing Friday! TYSM!
Great for those who can't train everyday, or for home workout ideas due to Covid
My first introduction to Danaher- very technical. Great instructor!
super refreshing to learn and revise the basics , danaher in great form as always!
Great step-by-step instruction that will help you develop when you’re on your own.
Awesome resource for me as a beginner! Great detail in this content! The techniques shown have been of great use in these times when a lot of people are relying on solo training. I look forward to perfecting all of the movements shown!
Techniques are explained very clearly with attention to detail. Helped me understand some details about bringing and shrimping I hadn't noticed before
Good
Overall just great breakdown of why solo drills are important in BJJ. Never knew I was doing some of these drills wrong till I started watching this.
Incredibly useful especially for a new person. Learning how to move your body is the first thing necessary - even before learning the moves A world class Coach giving you hard earned lessons for free I have since gone on and bought 3 more of Mr Danaher’s videos Well worth the time and money
Thank you so much for this video. Next week is my second week in this sport and I really appreciate these free materials.
First and foremost I just wanna to thank the BJJ Fanatics team for providing such a valuable product for FREE!!! In the spirit of full disclosure, I don't practice BJJ...yet, but my daughter does. This program has enabled me to help her extract more value from the warm-ups she was already mindlessly doing. I watched the entire program and was completely absorbed in the master teaching that was being delivered. I have an even greater appreciation for the art and sport of BJJ and expect to make this a part of my lifestyle soon.
John Danaher teaching makes even solo drills sound interesting! In my gym nobody explains how to properly move, instead focussing mostly on guard passes and submissions. As a 1y white belt, i felt that I had to develop even the most basic survival skills by trial and error while rolling. Danahers training material has been an eye opener for me in regards as how to move defensively! Only thing that I miss: he explains the concept of shadow-grappling, however for beginners, a straight build-up in the form of a simple program to focus on during the covid situation would have been great!(x reps of drill y)
Great help for those jiu-jitsu beginners like me to familiarized every drill that can be used in the gym and with training partners.
Great review!
Very informative. I'm a huge John danaher fan as I personally find it much easier to understand "concepts" rather than techniques. Moreover, in my academy there is little time spent teaching you how to train at home if needed which I believeis a necessity (especially as all the clubs are closed on the uk). Video quality is excellent. Big issue is there is soooo much information thatbita not easy to do it in 1 sitting (it's a hard life) I would gladly recommend this and other bjj fanatics products
Great practice during lockdowns/ quarantines.
Love it. Danaher can break down the geometric mathematics of Jiu-Jitsu
These are great drills for anyone to do while stuck in quarantine to improve their grappling ability.
Great explanations and techniques. The course was well presented and I am happy to be able to receive such quality coaching during the lockdown. The structure of the course is also made clear in the beginning - for example, I preferred just getting to move for the first time and jumped over to the training part without listening much to the explanations - which I later redid in a later training session. Very valuable, I learned much I had not known before or that wasnt explained in my club (like how to properly bridge). Thanks!
I found this incredibly useful - just the depth of explanation and drilling really ads something else.
Amazing details to solo drills!
