Great philosophy on the stand up game. helped my no-Gi stand up from no idea on what to do to having an idea on how to approach stand up.
Very detailed instructional, John Danaher covered most comon takedowns for grappling. It significally helped me to improve my singles and doubles.
Great setups
this video is a must for anyone interested in improving their takedown game. stressing fundamentals of all aspects of grappling on the feet. I have an extensive background in wrestling but found the explanations to positions I already knew informative.
content good actual app is terrible
great
Once again, John Danaher give us a very comprehensive approach and a complete system to put the opponent down. A must have !
Another amazing instructional from the great John Danaher. This course is loaded with tons of details that will greatly increase your success with taking opponents to the ground and also with consolidating the takedown. You can't go wrong with Danaher
John Danaher's standup instructionals are groundbreaking in their adaptation and technique selection specifically for grappling. We live in a time when grappling is developing its own philosophy for standing attacks. Even if you are a seasoned wrestler, this instructional will be a good guide in technique selection.
After watching this instructional, I noticed a significant improvement in my ability to defend takedowns and counter takedown defenses. John, as usual, thoroughly and clearly explains the concepts of starting from standing and incorporates a mix of wrestling and judo to teach a series of moves that allow you to develop your own system of takedowns whilst simultaneously making it more difficult for your opponent to do the same. The sheer content and detail in this instructional is definitely worth the money
Game Changing
Very detailed and lots of different techno to improve takedowns
GOOD
Another Danaher special! Admittedly it's heavy on theory, so it can be a bit slow and dry, but the emphasis on WHY you do technique instead of HOW let's you incorporate the material faster.
Great foundation for your takedown game
