Professor E. T. provided a short and sharp series about his very unique way of playing the turtle. His set ups for attacking and protecting himself from opponents attacks is very energy safing. He also illustates how valuable the turtle can be to counter attack your opponents action and reaction to your advantage. He also shows how well the turtle position connects to half guard and deep half guard as well as recover closed and open guard. Highly recommend!!

A great DVD, the Turtle works very well for older guys, I use the Turtle to survive on the mat with the young athletic guys. I catch them quite a lot and I do like the look of surprise on their faces when I turn the tables on them.

Out standing video that has been rebooted, I purchased it when originally cam out and really helped with turtle defense and counters. A must have instructional for those who are not guard replacers.
Excellent value. Anticipates Defensive BJJ
Along with many important details able how to sweep from turtle, Telles gives rare but effective tips on how to avoid back chokes. I can definitely see how Priit and Chris Paines and Wim Deputter have been heavily influenced by Telles. Even after seeing much of their stuff, it was still very useful to hear the defensive BJJ from Telles himself.
