Fundamental movements that were always there but as a blue belt, I didn't see. Thanks to Danaher, I am now aware of the possibilities and finding myself attacking the back. Excellent video!
Excellent content - well worth the money
This is a superb introduction to dominating from the back position. Johns systems are perfect for all levels!
I have long legs so this straight jacket system works really great! Love the aux attacks as well, back triangles all day!
An incredible breakdown of Danaher's back attack system that has immediately improved my back mount game and has become the strongest facet of my ground game
Genius! Worth the investment.
In my opinion this is the best instructional set from John Danaher. I have been using what I've learned from this set for years.
Effective techniques explained at a level that sinks in. Answers most questions that arise through instruction.
An absolute must have. My first ever instructional purchase that revealed a different side of Jiu-jitsu. It also showcased John Danaher and how much of an absolute genius he is when it comes to martial arts. Systematically defeating opponents is the best methodology for modern day Jiu-jitsu! I got this DVD when I was a white belt getting peoples backs (the most dominant position in the sport) but was unable to understand how to maintain the position, let alone submit from the position. These concepts in this translate very well to no-gi. And it gives you insights to his other systems like Juji-Gatame(Arm-Bar) & Sankaku (Triangle). If you love the sport and are willing to invest into yourself, this is an absolute steal considering the amount of years it took for him to develop this final product!

I had been doing bjj with high level practioners for 6ish years before I studied this material. It required me to unlearn tons of bad habits but improved my efficiency in attacks and control overnight!
Another exceptional break down from professor Danaher. My back control has improved a good amount since putting time into this instructional!

This instructional changed the sport. Worth every penny.
Well thought and structured! Loved all the concepts and the way they were explained.
The two videos in the series I bout were this and the Triangle System. The material Proffessor Danaher provides on strangles is far more valuable to me than his deservedly popular leg locks. His details on trapping arms for RNS, and even cooler, the Auxilary systems, the principles of Alignment, and the option of Back Crucifix when alignment is broken. No wonder this system is the number one finisher in EBI overtime.
Nearly every one of Danaher's instructionals are an amazing resource but as he repeats many times in this one. Back takes and attacks are the highest percentage for finishes. Putting this into practice ups your game dramatically!
This instructional by John Danaher is phonemonal! You're learning from the Phil Jackson/Pat Riley of BJJ!
Excellent instructions. Rotation method was eye opening.
Highly recommended.
I just completed John Danaher's Back Attacks Instructional. The heart of the instructional is to address the discrepancy in finishing opponent's from the back via strangulation. I have drilled utilizing the hand/grip fighting principles with immediate success. I am excited to test my new found knowledge and feel confident about increasing my finishes from the back. In addition, he teaches many options for transitioning to secondary submissions and control positions. The instructional ends with a variety of entries or "back takes" from the turtle, 3/4 mount, 4 point stance. I highly recommend this instructional to anyone who is interested in enhancing their skills and mastering the king of submissions, "the rear ***** strangle."
