Went to open mat and dominated with this new system.
great dvd
The derails presented by Danaher are simply amazing. Possibly the king of BJJ instructors.
great instructional
Danaher has given me so many eureka moments throughout this instructional, would recommend to anyone looking to level up their game.
Of all the Danaher instructionals, this one stuck with me the best. As usual Danaher provides insane levels of detail, and this series upped my game quickly and signifantly.

Great presentation of sequences, with lots of follow ups to "what-ifs"
John Danaher is probably the best martial arts instructors in the world today and as such his knowledge of one of the most dominant positions in the sport is unparalleled.
This is the first instructional I have bought, and I couldn't be happier with that decision. Im sick at the moment so can't train. But after the lessons in this instructional I feel I will return much better than before. At least when I get the back!
This instructional video helps so much to understand the back attacks. you need to watch it several times but I think it's one of the best.
very informative
The details are amazing
One of my favorite series on BJJ Fanatics — I recommend speeding up playback, but conceptual explanations are hard to beat. I’ve found the explanations here just click well for me.
One of the first instructionals I devoured from start to finish. It helped me to deal with the blue belt blues by allowing me to take charge of my own learning process. Straitjacket and back triangle particularly were great addition for my game.
Covers the straightjacket system to trap arms and rear ***** strangle, and some auxiliary systems like the rear triangle/armbar/calf slicer/etc. when you run into problems with the main arm trap system. Covers some getting and maintaining the back as well. Great intro for beginners and shows other opportunities to control and finish from the back that would benefit the more experienced.
Even though it's been around for a few years, it's the ultimate back instructional and I find myself going back to it over and over.
Great instructional - great insights on positional control, position recovery, and submissions.
Such an essential position and I didn't know how many failings I had in it until watching this. My use of the back and especially my ability to take the back have radically improved!
I refer to this set all the time. Still the best of the “System” DVDs, in my humble opinion.
I strangle everyone from the back now. Thanks JD!
Great tutorial John Danaher is the best.
Is one of the best product about the back I have ever seen
Great teacher. He breaks everything down in a way that is super easy to understand. And there is so much material in this series.
There is so much material in this series that I am not even close to getting all the way through it. But I have already picked up a lot of great info and have already started adding some of these concepts to my game. Nobody breaks down concepts and techniques like Danaher, and the back is such a great position to attack from. This series is a BJJ must.
