  Butterfly guard is a fundamental technique, but it can be used effectively in both Gi and No-Gi. I chose this course because I want to learn advanced-level techniques beyond the basics. The descriptions of the techniques are excellent, and I can frequently use them in sparring.

  Jon is an excellent instructor and might be a little underrated as far as instructors on BJJ Fanatics. I would love to see more material from him. He has an extensive competition history and uses the butterfly guard successfully at the highest level so you know you can trust his insight on this position.
