Systematically Attacking The Back by Gordon Ryan
Gordon is the best no gi grappler, hands down. This video is amazing and I’m glad I get to learn his techniques with very foo detail. Each section builds on the previous. I wish I was in Texas so I could go to his school! Great stuff!

Systematically Attacking The Back by Gordon Ryan
Such a great instructional! Although there is a lot of stuff in this video that will take time for me to fully grasp, there is a lot that I've already started to apply. As a blue belt I feel like this video has already given my game a big leap forward.

The Russian Takedown System For Grappling by Vlad Koulikov
Professor Koulikov puts out excellent instructionals and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to add to their training. The Russian Tie Takedown System for Grappling has a ton of fun (and useful) techniques.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Good, but requires a lot of explosiveness
The Daisy Fresh Knee Slice by Andrew Wiltse
Nice details and explanations, however the thing presented requires a lot of explosiveness. This explosiveness puts the cutting knee in jeopardy if any mistake is made during the cut. This may be acceptable for a relatively young competitor, but for an older guy like me this risk is not worth taking.
Great instructional!

Fundamental Movement Series: Iron Pillow System by John Frankl
I've been using courses from BJJF for many years. The concepts in this course have been excellent. I am already testing them in the academy with the brown and black belts and it's creating dilemmas that we never considered. Excellent course and full respect to Prof John Frankl, he is a very knowledgable coach and instructor.

Guard Retention: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
I wish I would have had this instructional from the first day I started jiu jitsu. I found myself saying wow I wish I had known that a long time ago. My guard retention keeps getting better way better as I keep focusing on the conceptual approach the videos cover. I am also working on guard retention from the specific forms of passing that is covered in the later sections. This is the best guard retention instructional you can buy. Danaher breaks jiu jitsu down like no one else.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Simple and effective
Diamond Concept: The Diamond Guard Frame, Shield, Elegant, Pedal by Xande Ribeiro
This can be put to use right away. I am a big proponent of getting back to my knees and attaining top position but sometimes it may take too much energy. I love Xande’s simple concepts and he thoroughly explains and demonstrates from different angles. Love the frame, knee shield, elongate, vortex terms. Thank you!

Mastering The Lasso Guard by Marcos Tinoco
Amazing breaking down of set ups and working from lasso guard. I would always get to lasso position and was not too sure how to take advantage of it. Really benefited from the different sweeps and inverted submission options. Many of the techniques were very easy to incorporate once I started bringing them into training. If you are looking for more options from lasso, this instructional is an excellent choice. Very happy with this instructional.

New Wave Jiu Jitsu: Open Guard vol 2: Sweeps and Reversals by John Danaher
Sweeps and Reversals is the best instructional I have seen so far. In my opinion, it is excellent value for money. John Danaher covers a lot of topics and goes into detail on everything covered. It's like getting multiple instructionals for the price of one. Not only does it cover sweeps and reversals, but it also covers submissions from those sweeps/reversals. I would highly recommend any of JD's instructionals, but I found this one particularly excellent.
