It does not get any better then an instructional by John Danaher. no wonder he has train the most champions.
the deeper you go into escapes the more confident you will. e on the bottom and then to attack
Really enjoyed the course contents and was able to apply them when rolling from day 1.

Escaping is the fundamental need in jiu-jitsu and this instructional give us the extensive knowledge of Mr. Danahar. This instructional is a must have for everyone, especially if you are just starting you jiu-jitsu journey. Mr. Danaher very knowledgable and he is awesome at giving every technique context. Excellent Pin Escapes Variations from all diffrent Positions .
Danaher instructionals are the best.
Hands down the best resource I've come across. As a white belt just trying to survive, learning pin escapes and guard retention have been my first priorities. Cannot recommend the JD GFF series enough. Does exactly what it says on the tin.
This product is the pinnacle to the start of anyone’s jiu jitsu journey. Danaher is superb at giving every technique context. I would recommend anyone to watch this series!
Great video! Helped develop the foundation.
Very good pin and turtle escapes. Nothing you wont use or come back too.
Essential stuff taught by the best
Very Good Instructional for Learning how to escape pins. My personal favorite was the knee elbow.
This instructional is exceptional for escaping pins and the turtle position. Danaher goes into great detail on these important skills. Excellent for both new and experienced practitioners.
really great insights but the level of detail can be a bit daunting for a total beginner
Best course for beginner
Just what I needed. I felt like I was grasping things learned in class but each class is different than the last so I felt I didn't have much to go on when trying to practice at home. I also felt proficient with take downs and when I was in mount BUT once I was stuck in a pin, I felt I was in a stalemate for the entire roll. I am still working through the sections but for far I have been able to understand why things are done, I can practice the movements at home, and my pin escape has drastically gotten better.
As a white belt this is the most valuable course you can get.
Professor John teaches the most effective escapes to all the major pins in Jiu Jitsu. This series greatly improved my ability to escape, giving me the confidence to play a proactive game where I don't need to worry about being pinned for a prolonged period of time.
Very informative. anyone can learn from this man!
Completely changed my outlook on pin escapes, and has given me the ability to escape side control a lot easier.
John Danaher has a way of explaining critical details that you may already be doing, but didn't know why you did them, until now. Learning escapes is one of the first things that you should focus on in the beginning of your Jiu-Jitsu career and nobody explains in better than the man himself. Do yourself a favor and get this series.
Mr. Danaher puts words to movement and body placement that I only thought I knew or felt. His understanding of jiu jitsu is so deep, but then coming up from those depths and sharing what he has learned in a way that has real applications. Unlike many of the other training tapes I’ve watched this is methodical and easily understood. This way of teaching made me confident to buy many of his other series with only getting through the frost two tapes of this series.
I am a complete beginner and this made me feel more confident before walking into my first class.
