Some people talk about Priit as a white belt trap, and maybe I have fallen into it, but I have had a lot of success with Priit's turtle instructional. Consequently, I've noticed my escapes getting better because I always feel as though I can resort to turtle, and my top pressure has been getting stronger because I actively try to avoid relying heavily on turtle. Maybe counterintuitive, but helpful nonetheless.
While at first one of my weakest position,Priit's concepts on this instructionnal and others made it so it is now where I feel the most at e se and even started to actively threaten sweeps and submissions from there, much to the dismay of my trainning partners!
I really enjoyed this instructional. The turtle that he uses is absolutely game changing. He explains the concepts of the position very well. Got really good compliments on my defense from my black belt instructor.
Pritts turtles are amazing. One of my favourite instructors
Great!
This is a really good series. He has material in here that I have never seen or tried before that is already paying off for me.
Helped my turtle immensely
My youngest gets caught here a lot great titbits to add to his game and progress his game
It's not the most exciting stuff to watch, but it's beautifully effective. Just starting to experiment with it, and when I get the right defensive positioning, people really do seem to be stuck. I look forward to integrating more of this into my game. I really like Priit's approach to killing offence before it even has a chance to begin.
I think Pritt's stuff is a must have for the older grappler. Especially those of us who have to slow things down due to not being as mobile as we used to be.
Good review of a position I often find myself in.
Great points in where to position head, arms and legs in turtle
use this in my game now
You can feel very secure in the turtle position using these tips and details
Great look into Pritt’s defense system. If you really want to shut down your opponents offense from bottom turtle, this a must have in you collection. Not a lot of products like this on the market so check it out.
If you want to learn how to protect you back, you need to learn from the best
Priit explains in great detail how to defend the common threats when in turtle and how to immediately begin attacking in various ways. Definitely improved my game.
Priit has mastered the art of efficiency. Let him teach you. His material will make you far harder to submit and let you have more fun on the mat. It is easy to attack when you don't fear the consequences of failure as much.
I have almost all of Priit's instructionals. His concepts have definitely made it harder for my training partners to submit me. If you want to learn how to be comfortable in uncomfortable positions , Priit's instructionals will help.
As an older grappler I like Priit’s approaches to defense; no one else I train with uses them so it’s helpful in slowly people down.
This video upgrade my defense immediately.
Another great course from Pritt. Instantly improved my turtle escapes and guard recovery.
I an very new to BJJ (3 classes). My instructor mentioned Priit and I watched some online videos. As an "older" newbie I appreciate all the detail to help me learn some of the basics and give me confidence to continue. I hope Priit continues to make more videos.
As a white belt this instructional was SO helpful.
Great instructional
