This is my second tutorial from Priit after the Grilled Chicken Guard Retention System. There's undeniably serious research behind these. More to that: it constradicts many concepts I've been exposed to so far. The video is well structured and not needlessly long. And yes - lads at my gym started saying I'm annoying which is exactly what I was after.

After finding Priit on youtube i started playing turtle as the only guy in my club, with Priits help i turned a hated and unsafe position into a defensive power structure that baffels the higher belts. Defense is the foundation you should build your game on.

I train at a school that likes to bash on the turtle as a horrible position. Priit really opened my eyes to the position. I now use it regularly to set up my wrestling. This is one of those rare instructionals that made an immediate impact on my game. I was able to effectively apply these principles after one viewing. Highly recommended!

Learning this feels like learning a new guard that no one else ever taught. Priit's defensive postures have revolutionized the way I approach jiu-jitsu. I highly recommend supplementing this instructional with the BJJ Globetrotters seminars on Youtube, to familiarize yourself with Priit's way of speaking, boxing analogies, and perspectives.

Pritt opened my eyes to how the turtle should work. I am a smaller man and find I get into turtle often, this vid showed me some neat tricks I need to get better at. Thanks Pritt

Pritt is doing something totally different than everyone else right now. His defensive bjj is amazing and he gives so much information in this video. If you are a turtle guard player, this is a must for strengthing your game!

Priit’s deceptively simple tactics can be immediately implemented into your game, regardless of skill level. I’ve been working on my turtle game with my coach, and this instructional has helped supplement my training. Mind blown! Also worth noting, as someone 40+, Priit’s techniques are well-suited for older, less athletic players, too!

Great instructional. Turtle position is a position that offers so many attacking and defending opportunities and Priit does a fantastic job in exploring angles, energies and concepts to help turn the table in that position. Very cerebral and Danaher esque. Definitely recommend!
