What a gift!!! Everyone into bjj should see this video !!!
Great and simple breakdown of skills to practice at home. Danahers teaching method is precise. A great resource for when you can’t make it to the mats.
Love doing these when im on vacation or cant get to the gym
I watched and practiced it mainly during the first big lockdown in 2020. It was very helpful then, and still to this day. I still find great value in, at least, two of the main ideas of the video which are first, to practice the moves, even alone, with a sense and understanding of their purpose when training with an opponent or partner; and second, the importance of visualization when practicing the moves with the shadow grappling.
The drills very helpful for mobility.Gives and inner insight how the body moves to execute your techniques. Its truly is a worthy nvestment.
The best. Thanks JD!
John helped me understand the importance of solo drills in a very detailed but clear form. Definetly recommend!
A comprehensive and actionable instructional especially suited to pandemic times!
This is basically a free cheat sheet for BJJ conditioning. Danaher goes into such depth about each drill that it takes multiple volumes just to cover all the material. After getting through the whole thing, much of the material stays with you as you see it again in context. Did I mention it was free?
It is Danaher offering you solo drills... What more can you ask for to help develop your game.
Great video series. Should be shown at every entry level BJJ class! Plus, it is free, so go and grab it!
i have a knee ligament injury, so i need a solo drill methods. ( i cant jiujitsu with my partner) these methods so useful to me. im very appreciate this drill lectures.
Great content. A little less dense than some other Danaher stuff is. I’ve been needing to learn some solo training stuff because I spend half of my time out at sea and unable to train with other people, so this is useful in giving me some things to do. I only wish that there was a section with a grappling ***** so I could pick up some tricks for maximizing the use of mine.
very comprehensive instructional
Learned things that should have been taught to me during my first month of BJJ.
Really helped me to structure and organize training at home. Even though gyms are open again, this gives me an opportunity to do "extra credit" at home.
Great content
Excellent vidéo
I watch you videos everyday . What great details you supply here at bjj fanatics I absolutely love it
I was injured for a month and still wanted to work on my game. This instructional let me do that.
A great resource to have
The set movements Danaher showed improved my movement on the mats immensely. especially guard retention, people rarely pass my guard and if they ever did, they'd already be too exhausted to continue with their attacks.
This is exactly what I needed for my at-home practice. When you have a busy schedule and do not always have time to make it to the gym, building muscle memory with solo drilling can help keep you sharp. Love this video !
Anything John does is amazing these solo drills are for everyone!
It is quite detailed. And the movements are clearly explained. I'm very happy I found this guide.
