will improve your game
Ive been using turtle as a reset position now in my rolls thanks to neil! The bottle neck piece is great advice that has helped level my game up

Great approach to fighting from turtle
I appreciate his wrestling/catch/mma approach to fighting from turtle which gives a slightly different perspective than what you might be used to from traditional bjj. I love the kimura set up which I'm still working on but it's a super tricky move and he goes over it extensively.

Si good! ver y good and very nice variety of movementd. It fells like going from in Danger to dangerous in a Blink of an eye.
Great content, but not kid friendly
The content and instruction are great. I often watch instructionals on my phone with my kids nearby. I would not suggest that with this video.

Very thorough explanations of all important aspects of turtle defense. Favours standing up rather than returning to guard, which works well for my particular style.

Transitioning out from turtle has always been one of the weaker areas to my game so I have spent quite a bit of time researching different instructionals and finally settled on this one by Neil Melanson. This is a great series and has improved my game dramatically. Neil offers a more different approach compared to the classical BJJ techniques. I am new to Neil’s work but will definitely be checking out more of his content

Neil Melanson really layers on the value. this is one of the best instructional on how to play turtle. It goes great alongside Eduardo Telles and Priit Mihkelson's turtle instructionals. Neil really provides a TON of tips, tricks and key principles of how to defend and attack in turtle. You can really create a ton of movement here utilizing these principles from especially catch wrestling. He is also hilarious and entertaining while being informative.

I love the turtle position, but it's hard to find good content on how to master it. This video has incredible breadth and depth. Coach Melanson is an amazing teacher and has obviously studied this position deeply. My turtle game has improved since I watched this. It's not just the moves he shows that help, it's the concepts and strategies that help me think about the postion. I am really happy I bought this.

turtle can be an easy place to escape to from various pins, but jiu jitsu guys are often reluctant to because of back exposure. Neil will show you how to create good offense from turtle and change the game on your opponent.

Love this series. I own three of Neil Melanson’s videos and they are all great. Every move is explained very well, he show multiple entries and setups. Everything can start being applied as soon as you watch the lesson. His cradle video and arm triangle video is awesome as well.

Neil has great insight and is entertaining. I have several of his instructional videos, this one lives up to the high standard I’ve come to expect. He has some great tactics for playing turtle. Worth every penny.
