• Great mg tutorial

  I really like this tutorial, it is as good for passing than it is to learn about the defense against a passing opponent. Really like MG teaching style. He is as good as a teacher as He is as a grappler.

  Judo blackbelt cross-training in Jiu-Jitsu here. Marcelo is one of the greatest of all time and his guard passing is one of those reasons. His system is designed to work well for both no-gi and in the gi and the first part alone offered insights that have made me rethink my approach to guard passing both in BJJ and Judo.

  Marcelo's no gi passing is comprehensive, and includes responses to a lot of modern leg entanglements that one normally associates with newer competitors. For example, it helped me solve a training partner who likes to spam K guard, which is worth the price of admission in itself. Definitely a solid buy if you want to develop a broad and effective passing game.
