  Halfgaurd is like driving with one headlight. Then i remember Ducati's only have one headlight, but so do Vespa's. Put your boots on, its about to get deep. Definitely better than bottom side control gaurd! Really though, Jeff Glover is a good teacher. He brakes things down to the lowest common denominator and keeps it simple. His simplicity is definitely a result of mastering efficiency. On the flip side his approach will only work in very specific situations, for example if you're opponent doesn't hide their legs in mount or is almost lazy with their legs. However, when those situations do occur I think his approach will own people. I will definitely get more videos from him.

  Great intro to DHG. Jeff keeps it nice and simple with three move system that can be adapted to your game vey quickly. Jeff is a wonderfully teacher and delivers techniques in an engaging manner. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn basics of DHG.

  Within the first 30 minutes of this video, there are three sweeps that look so easy, you wouldn't think they would work. But they do! I've used these sweeps so many times. I now have both my kids learning these sweeps. Great, simple, effective instructions.

  Jeff is an incredible bjj practitioner, but I didn't realize he was such a clear and effective teacher. I love that he lays out the concepts on a whiteboard, and then demonstrates the techniques really well so that they stick mentally. Considering some (very good) instructionals can also be a bit talky, this sort of brevity and clarity is really helpful. Also the techniques work right away.

  Really helpful instructional. Jeff has a very engaging teaching style and keeps things clear and concise. He also keeps his deep half system simple and reinforces important principles by constantly highlighting them and referring back to previous entries/positions. Most importantly Jeff Glover is an enthusiastic teacher and holds your attention. Even after one viewing I have been able to implement parts of his system. This is one instructional I will keep going back and referring to.
