Deep half made simple
A very good starting review of deep half guard. Jeff Glover is the master of deep half, and he cuts out a lot of the complexity with this instructional to just focus on a basic system that most any belt can learn.

I usually randomly find deep half both in gi and nogi. The details on the ways to enter into deep half are incredible. Even though this is designed for nogi, I am finding it useful in gi as well. Breakdowns are simple and easily understandable.

Deep Half Guard King. The entries and sweeps taught by Jeff are high percentage (some of the entries are so simple it's entertaining). His explanation is top notch, and he explains when to attack with each technique.

I enjoy Jeff's teaching style, and I also owned his previous dvds and I can tell that he has updated his techniques based on experience. It was fun to put this into action rolling in class, and the techniques have worked for me on younger and sometimes even more experienced opponents.

I was blown away by all the detail and thought put into this instructional video on the no gi deep half guard 2.0 by Jeff Glover. With the coupon it was practically free and I should have purchased this sooner. Not only does this video include all three sweeps from deep half guard and all the ways Jeff gets into deep half guard, but how to eliminate vulnerabilities and counters as well as drills to improve your ability to execute the moves. Not to mention Jeff's funny AF and entertaining. I used this immediately in rolling and was able to get into deep half guard twice, although I did get chin strapped which Jeff warned of, that was my bad. Stoked to have this at my disposal to watch as many times as I choose. Osss!

The content on this is great. Worked it some in class and has been a total game changer. Jeff makes it easy to understand with simple instructions and cues with techniques that are easy to remember with the nomenclature he uses.. I'll never forget favorite uncle position. Everyone in class is my favorite uncle now

Deep half has been a place I've easily gotten to when almost having my half guard passed. I've had a little success, but not really had a go to plan when I'm there. Jeff makes the plan simple, but incredibly effective. I knew Jeff was my go to for deep half guard after watching him sweep a guy who weighed like 400 pounds from deep half in competition. Some instructionals throw so many techniques at you that it's hard to pick a few to work on. Instead of a multitude of options the focus is cut down to a few that he goes in more depth explaining, and I found that tremendously helpful.

Quit suffering with a person’s knee on your belly. Escape mount or impending mount without gassing. Logically presented, including the use of an on-the-mat whiteboard, Glover states with three options from the deep half. Later he tells you how to get to the deep half from multiple situations. Lastly he tells you the pitfalls, and the ways to avoid them. Work on the “Favorite Uncle Grip” and you’ll find yourself sliding out of moves that would have left you in dire positions then capitalize on the escape buy getting to your knees and going from deep half - to on your knees and dominating your opponent. I love the white board, good natured humor (you will laugh at times) and the way this talented teacher organizes the teaching of the deep half. Get it now, it’s time to stop getting smashed, and instead time to realize your full potential.

Jeff is my favorite Bjj fighter. So creative and relaxed. I got this instructional after I saw him post this is the base of his entire system. I watched it once and immediately have been able to put it to use. He hs a great mix of concept and technique, of volume of techniques so you can use it in enough situations without being overwhelmed. Of repetition so you memorize without getting boring. Probably the most practical instructional I have ever downloaded here. Definitely one of my favorites.
