Great details and fundamentals for sure...but dang bro, next time film when there's not construction on the building going on b/c between that and the people jabbering in the background, it was a pretty distracting experience
Excellent open guard info
There are a lot of details, which are usually forgotten and this course is a great reference to it!
One of the best open guard instructionals.
Great info to immediately improve your open guard.
This is a great instructional for developing the foundation of your open guard system. Many of these concepts are things I was taught initially when Is started jiu-jitsu and while I did some of them, others I had forgotten or gotten sloppy with. I believe if kids and white belts were taught this open guard system to begin with they would be in great position to layer on some of the fancier sport guards if they wanted to do so down the road.
This is the best instructional on the open guard. Simple. Fundamental. Effective. It focuses on connection. Whittier is a master and all the SBG instructors are phenomenal.
