Travis Stevens lays out everything you need to know to level up your game . This instructional is packed with details and will teach you in deph how to grip and create off balancing. It is good organized and he explinations are clear and straight to the point. You will get a lot of information which you can train for a long time to master it.
Lots of specific small details and ideas to play with and apply to stand up game, Travis explains things clearly
Great stuff. Glad I got it.
I have bought it not expecting much. But just after 10min I realised it was all well organised, and with a very good audio. Kuzushi is the base of any attack, everybody knows it but rare are the ones that master it. This is also because this extremely important subject is tought with very basic principles that are very often easily blocked from your opponent. Here your understanding is stimulated, what you already know is reinforced and better explained and there are also many things that are new also for someone that has been practicing judo for 45 years like me.
the attention to detail is fantastic.
Great details
this will up your game
Great work
Travis Stevens is THE MAN!!!
This DVD is a must watch if you want to have an effective standup game. Most people just learn a bunch of moves without actually focusing on creating kuzushi which is a prerequisite for any standup throw. Thank you Travis Stevens for this amazing instructional.
Do you often go for throws and miss them often getting suplexed. Maybe you don't understand offbalancing and gripping. This is for you
This is a topic I have been interested in for a long time. This video gives a great explanaition and framework to start developing it into my game.
Great to have a system in place to talk about a less-discussed element of the game.
Sensei/Professor installed a foundational and crucial instructional for every kind of gi grappling. He delivers a systematic approach of how to identify your opponent's art of grappling. Based on that he shows how to adapt your defense. Then it is all about how to use every part of your limbs and body seperate and in union to off balance your opponent and set up your entries your rhrows and sqeeps and takedowns. AN ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE!!!
great
I would expect nothing less from a Travis Stevens instructional. I picked up a lot of fine details and am very satisfied with my purchase.
Perfect instructional on gi grips! Great for standup.
Excellent instructional. Super detailed and eye opening details ive never seen anywhere else before.
Travis Stevens’s presentation on this video is exceptional, a great teacher with solid details I’ve been able to apply already. Highly recommend.
There aren’t many decent instructionals out there on gripping and this is a top class one from an individual who has not a high level judo and BJJ background. I have already been able to put some of the techniques into practice at class 👍
As a Judo player I have always appreciated Travis's instructionals and insights. This instructional is no different, highlighting essential kuzushi and gripping information for anyone looking to improve. Lots of useful tips even for experienced Judoka.
Travis does a great job breaking down kuzushi and moving your opponent into position for throws. This is helping to fill a big hole in my game.
Excellent series. Wish I found this sooner!
