Really useful material. Chris has a unique way of looking at BJJ and simplifying it which makes totally sense.
Posture, balance, defense, offensive: it's all in this instructional. More concepts than techniques, and with that a lot more valuable than only 'moves'.
It's ok not a lot of techniques
Good helpful points about posture and apex that elevated my jiu jitsu.
Such powerful ideas explained in a super relatable, understandable way.
As in his other instructionals, Chris Paines teaches a lot of interesting concepts and show all the context to find their true meaning and aplicability.
Everything Chris Paines has done so far has helped my game immensely. Highly recommend
Chris Paines coming with the conceptual heat! Great instructional
Perfect conceptual guide to turnaround! Another great instructional of Chris Paines
Chris is an excellent instructor.
This instructional was a great instructional for concept based learning. There are a ton of useful ideas that translate to all aspects of your game.
Chris puts out the best products. These concepts are game changers
Chris simplifies jiujitsu with concept teaching rather than a focus on moves. A lot of these concepts are gold dust and will improve your jiujitsu by years. I wish I'd watched this instructional at the very start of my Jiujitsu journey!
Chris Paines is an anomaly. His instructionals are short and don't teach techniques yet they might be the best instructionals on Fanatics. The reason I say this is because when I take one of his concepts onto the mats and focus on it I notice an immediate improvement in my game and I find myself doing things that are in fact techniques which I've never practiced but I arrived at them not by drilling or thinking about the technique but rather by focusing on a more general guiding principle as outlined by Mr Paines. I am a big Danaher and Gordon Ryan fan as those instructionals have their place but don't sleep on this one. I don't think you'll find a better value anywhere for making real, lasting improvements to your grappling. Of course like any instructional it's what YOU do with it. Find a partner and put some time into it and your learning curve will go up.
Fantastic instructional, with when you think about it really really obvious observations, that when put into practice make a huge difference to your game.
worth buying! you will get at least a few ah-ha moments out of this one.
