Proven system and teachers.
GM presents the information clearly in an organized, well thought out way. I like that there is live sparring analysis included so you can see the concepts applied.
Everyone needs this.
A+ from Gui. A pleasure to learn these details
Video and audio quality is amazing. Technique discussion and demonstrations are very clear. Lot of great information presented in a concise way.

this video helped me reframe everything of my game place; motivated me to do more bjj and raised my awareness of every situation
Gui is like an alter of John Danaher in terms of concepts and doing things systematically. Understanding the distance in the guard allows you to apply specific techniques that creates high percentage of attacks/sweeps and transitions efficiently and effectively.
With a coach like this its easy to understand the level of those guys
I think conceptually these are some of the best videos on the site. It's not all about the technique but the systems as a whole. Love the way he teaches and will buy new content when it gets on the site.
Great beginner and mid level practitioners. Highly recommended.
Awesome techniques and concepts!
Very informative!
This video has changed my understanding of guard play to a whole new level. Very insightful with great depth of near, middle and far distance. Great series! 10/10
Great instructional
great for a basic but important understanding of details for your game
great instructional, highly recommended

This is a super professional DVD series bro. Professor Mendes goes through so many different things x he provides great insight and conceptual based knowledge to improve your Jiujitsu. 100% would buy again
This instructional helped me a lot to organize my game according to the distance (middle or far), and to choose the correct set of techniques. Highly recommended!
Insightful conceptual approach to the bottom guard position. Has started to change the way I approach attacking from the guard. Great details on maintaining and retaining each guard/distance shown.
Good contents
I really like the way this instructional is laid out. Going from near distance to middle to far distance with each section. Plus the last section shows narrated rolling and using many of the guard concepts that Gui discusses throughout. I picked up something new for my game from each distance. I learned a lot from this instructional and have implemented a lot of this into my game and my teaching.
I have been focusing on guard the last few months and this has been a great complement to my other videos. Just having the understanding of when or whats available or situations to be aware of has helped my game tremendously. Looking forward to the rest of his series!
This instructional delivers a framework about how to think when in the guard. Compared to just isolated moves, now my understanding is a lot better! Professor Mendes does also include some very useful moves in each distance.
