Double Wrist Lock
Awesome details on finishing the double wrist lock as well as fighting to keep it. Kimuras are more than a trap and Americanas work... its just the devil is in the details.

An in-depth look at gaining, keeping, and using the double wrist lock from a catch wrestling perspective. In catch, the double wrist lock is considered a position (or maybe a way of life) and Barnett treats it that way. This is an excellent video. Highly recommended.

This is a great breakdown from a very experienced grappler. I feel like this is one of those positions I get all the time, but I rarely finish. I am going to keep working on these techniques and I am confident that this will become a strong part of my game.

Josh is one of my favorite fighters so I jumped at the opportunity to kb earn some of his tricks. I really liked Barnett’s perspective of the double wrist lock/Kimura. He gives little details that help a lot when performing the move from top side Mount position that really helped my game and it was exactly what I was looking for.
