Another awesome Danaher instructional! I also have his half guard gi, and thought that this was a great addition.
Great instructions and content. John Danaher always delivers. Thank you for the content.
Another great series from Danaher. I know some people complain that Danaher talks to much - they just want him to “get to the point.“ We’ll those people are missing the point - all the concepts and specific details Danaher shares are the critical things that makeS ALL the difference. For example: My current Work schedule for Several months has been killing my training time... ...even though I ‘m getting very little training (maybe 2x a month) my jiu- jitsu has improved . How ? Because John does such a great of drilling the concepts and principles Into your brain ... And that means... even if you can’t be on the mat ever day, you’ll can still get better because, you’ll know exactly what do in every position. For example : In the past I was pretty lousy from half- guard bottom. But - now I know exactly how to see the mistakes from the top guy. For example: Never in my life had hit a knee lever sweep before ... Now I get them all the time. Bottom line: If you want to get better at jiu jitsu ...even if you can’t train that much then You need to study Danaher’s material.
Amazing instructional! In typical Danaher fashion, you learn so much more than just the topic “Half Guard” of the DVD. In addition to getting a very thorough understanding of No-Gi half guard, he also explains concepts of No-Gi grips, wrestling up, and so much more. There’s no comparison to Danaher’s knowledge and his ability to break-down concepts and applications of jiu-jitsu!
Great - I have the Going Further Faster Half Guard Bottom DVD. I think this New Wave one is more comprehensive and applicable to gi and no gi
A great look at what's possible from half guard
This provides one of the most detailed learning sources about half gaurd
As with all Danaher instructional, this one is very detailed in this really important aspect of the bjj game. Strongly recommend because we tend to end up here so often
Danaher is a jiu-jitsu wizard. Amazing content as normal. I cant get enough of this guy =]
I often find myself in half guard after regaining guard. Great instructional on how to attack from this position instead of just hold it.
Half guard was always a weak position of mine, often felt like just trying to survive. This instructional turned my half guard game in to an area im comfortable to play and be offensive from. All the knee lever stuff will change your game if you haven't been introduced to it before.
This one is awesome
As a 260lb BJJ player closed guards are difficult and I have been working really hard to develop a competent guard game. Half guard has been my answer. Having references that focuses completely upon half guard has been really useful.
Can’t say enough good about Danaher instructionals they are absolute game changers Even if you only pick up 10% of what your watching it makes a noticeable difference in your rolling
John Danaher is the greatest teacher ever!
Great knowledge, as always, Danaher is simply a genius
Easily one of my favorite instructionals by Danaher, but I am a half guard player, so am partial. A lot of great concepts as well as techniques if you want to create or strengthen a competent No-gi half guard game.
This instructional has completely changed my half guard. It’s a must for anyone that wants to make half guard the centerpiece of their bottom game.
The way John Danaher structure's his content is great. Definitely a lot to take in but easy to go back and tune in to what you want to focus in on. Half guard is slowly improving, so overall has had an impact on my game from bottom.
Absolutely rock solid, so many great details to improve your game. Highly recommend
Everything you would expect from the rain man of jiujitsu. Worth every penny would highly recommend.
I absolutely love it nobody explains in more detail than professor Danaher it’s astounding how much he knows and we as practitioners are blessed to be able to learn from him thank you sir
Another good purchase. Not my favorite. Definitely not regretting buying it!
Amazing detail. Game changer.
As much as I like to drill a technique, I equally enjoy knowing the “why” for a technique. Danaher’s instructional leaves little to question. Excellent detail as always.
