Great content
New Wave Jiu Jitsu: Open Guard The two Foundations Of Guard Play by John Danaher
A great overall philosophy on how to approach open guard. The instructional covers guard retention, before delving in to primary offense ideas from open guard, namely leglocks. A great complementary instructional to Danahers lecklock instructional
What I needed!
Catch Wrestling Takedown Solutions by Yuko Miyato
The single and double leg take downs work great. This is what you need when your opponent knows the same things you do. Don’t worry about subtitles, the instruction is excellent. Always a good feeling when one instructional make a difference.
Awesome

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:How to use a kimura to move around the body
Systematically attacking From Top Pins: Side Control & North South by Gordon Ryan
Gordon Ryan explains details quickly and effectively, which I need so I don't fall asleep. Key concepts found in this video are entries to the kimura from side control and north south and using the Kimura to move around the body. The positions around the body provides a complete top game. You'll also get good details to counter your opponent's movements. Fairly easy content to add to your game because of the great expertise of King Ryan.
Another danaher gem

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:This should be your K Guard starting point
Now That's What I Call K-Guard by Adam Benayoun
As someone who has been dabbling in K Guard for the last 12 or so months I have went through the "must views" for the position that were incredibly detailed, but left me chasing rabbit holes without a clear gameplan. Adam has done an outstanding job at creating an easily digestible course that hammers home the fundamentals of the k guard position. (I would specifically designate fundamentals as "most important" instead of "most accessible, even though the details given are accessible and easy to follow for students of any level. I went from being someone who dabbled in the position before reverting back to old habits into someone that was able to breathe newer, even more efficient life into their guard. I'm all honesty, I would even recommend this course to someone that is in the process of developing a strong open guard with the focus on off balances to create high quality attacks. The open guard and back taking details given are top notch and things that I'm already starting to pass along to my own students. I'm conclusion, Adam is a fantastic instructor with an incredible "works cited" list of influences that show through in his clear, knowledgeable presentation. I can't wait for his next product!

Closed Guard Domination by Tom DeBlass
At my BJJ school (Gracie) combatives are taught first, and a lot of it involves the closed guard. I used to think it was a relatively simple position with limited options, but this instructional has shown me otherwise. Would recommend for anyone.

They Shall Not Pass by Gordon Ryan
I've been using the techniques in this video for a couple years now. Aside from the actual techniques, the concepts you learn are very helpful to allow you to retain your guard and prevent passing.
My Favourite Instructional So Far
Power Ride: A New Philosophy on Pinning by Craig Jones
I love paradigm shifting material like this. Craig Jones challenges conventional point scoring rule sets, and makes a good case that much of it is outdated and doesn't give you the control you could have over an opponent. While more focused on ideas, there is plenty of practical techniques in this.

High Percentage Gi Passes by Gordon Ryan
Very interesting to see Gordon's take on gi passing. Though I prefer Danaher's teaching style this is a great instructional with good details. I was able to not only improve my own toreando passing but also defend against it to a better degree by understanding what was required. Overall a great mini-instructional for free that gives a taste of what Gordon has to offer.

Leglocks Unlocked by Tum Energia
I recently purchased Tum's leglock dvd and I must say it was a great purchase. The DVD is very well produced and Tum explains the techniques in a clear and easy to understand manner. The DVD is very comprehensive and offers many different techniques, variations and strategies for using leglocks. It is great to see Tum demonstrate the techniques and then show how they can be put into practice. If you are looking for a leglock DVD that is both informative, I can definitely recommend this DVD. It is a great resource for both beginner and advanced bjj’ers.

Excellent for less athletic people
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Different Way of Looking at BJJ
This was a great an interesting way of looking at the game. I think the importance of a good pin can often be overlooked. This video brings this idea to the forefront. In application some of the techniques gave problems to other belts much darker than mine.
