I found this instruction very interesting as it takes a non-traditional approach to tackle many problems that we take for granted with the traditional Jiu-Jitsu mindset. We all know how difficult securing a position or pass can be for some players who know what techniques you use to achieve your goal. Craig's approach offers a solution that perhaps establishing a ride between these positions can be just as effective as a way to control, wear down, frustrate and ultimately pin or submit the opponent. I think the positions that Craig advocates for could also be especially effective when punches are involved, so I will be on the lookout for some of these to appear in the MMA-based grappling game.

It is recommended that people who often fail in sub-mission watch. In particular, when there are many submission failures such as Ambar and Triangle, there are ways to switch leg lock.

I enjoyed Sams's instructional as he took some unique catch wrestling positions and techniques and presented them in a way you can tell had taken place after tests against active grapplers. He begins each technique by showing how it has been traditionally taught, which would have been from a long time ago and not against today's level of grapplers and then shows the problems you may encounter when attempting to apply it. But you can tell he has tested the technique in action as he then continues to explain how he currently sets up and applies the techniques, the most common counters you may experience and how to overcome the counters. Such information could only be gained with repeated live testing, especially when some of the more esoteric techniques. Overall I would say he is an excellent instructor.

Double De La Riva: Emu guard by Benjamin Power
As someone who plays a lot of Del La Riva/Rev DLR already, this is in a world of its own. I've found it to be an extremely effective guard for controlling and sweeping; especially in an MMA setting where keeping out of punching range is obviously important. A great addition for any competitive grappler or fighter.

I bought this video a little over a year ago now and my girls have not gotten tired of the games. They will often ask me if we can go downstairs and do flying squirrel or jujitsu games. Great instructional for having fun with your kids while building some base sensitivity to simple techniques.

Good focus on tactics less on drills or special combos. It'll sharpen your fight IQ. He could have easily added his footwork drills in like 15 min but added a plug. The bonus content was just a long poorly filmed rant.
