So incredibly helpful! I've known the basic set up of the triangle, but was never able to land it. That night I was able to pull it off. There's some wild stuff in the instructional thats a bit beyond me right now as a white belt, but I'm super thankful for this instructional.

Such great variations of this move. I really enjoyed watching this, despite feeling bad for the guy who probably spent a long time after the shoot with an ice pack on his shoulder.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Worthwhile addition to your instructional library
The techniques on this instructional are practical and efficient. The instructions are clear, detailed and easily understood. As necessary, the nuances of each technique are highlighted. The camera angles and the quality of the sound recording are good. The instructional is 1 hour & 24 minutes long. In summary, if you are looking for some efficient and proven techniques to get a submission from mount then this instructional is a worthy addition to your library.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:As good as John Danaher

Mastering The Mount by Matt Thornton
This instructional will teach you to maintain the mount and give you the ability and confidence to apply submissions from this position. It is presented as a training course of 15 lessons. The instructional covers posture (using the whole body), pressure, appropriate responses to your opponent’s movements including grabbing, pushing, rolling, upas, the hydraulic lift and elbow/knee escapes, plus several efficient and effective submissions. Each lesson of the instructional shows the technique being taught, associated drills and is supported by footage from the material being taught in a seminar. The instructions are clear, the angles of the camera and the sound quality are excellent. I found the material interesting, the standard of presentation is high, and if you take the time to watch and digest this information your ability to hold mount will significantly improve.

Devastating Sambo Throws by Ivan Vasylchuk
This is an absolute must have, especially for people interested in non-wrestling based takedowns (think Khabib - early), aka Judo throws. Not only is Vladislav's translation impeccable, the content shows all throws and give you three names for each (also demonstrated 'with or without jacket'). Spell this with your NoGi Travis Stevens takedown DVD and you'll be taking down wrestlers if you put in the time. Nothing worse than paying big bucks and feeling like you didn't learn much, but nothing better than spending a couple bucks for something new (for most)! Highly recommended.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Short and concise - Exactly what I needed

Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
This is a major investment for a lot of people, but it represents real value for money. The benefits from purchasing this instructional and absorbing the content will be noticeable for most people every time they role. I haven’t ever met someone who likes to be crushed and pinned down during a roll. The content is comprehensive. The information provided is not just mechanical, but also includes the concepts and the logic to the escape. There is just so much good material, that if studied it will significantly help improve your ability to escape from the mount position, side control, north-south, the back and turtle positions. The better your escapes the more confident you will be to try submissions, with the knowledge that if your submission fails and your position is compromised that you should be able to efficiently and effectively escape a pin and move to a better position. The instructional is just under 11 hours long.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great instructional on an underrated position
The Scarf Hold The Soul Stealer by Henry Akins
The instructional is organised into 4 parts covering: entering the scarf hold, maintaining the position, enhancing the pressure on your training partner and submissions. As experienced in his other instructional “Mount Attacks” Henry’s instructions are clear, detailed and easily understood. Your understanding of this position is further enhanced with the inclusion of some outtakes were several of the techniques are further discussed with a brown belt and a black belt. The camera angles and the quality of the sound recording are good. The instructional is 3 hours and 12 minutes long. Scarf hold is a powerful position, where if you know how to maintain this position will put your training partner / opponent under a lot of pressure and provide you with good opportunities to submit them. The submissions taught are low risk for the person in the top position.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Practical and high-percentage techs by ADCC champion
Giant Killing by Claudio Calasans
I am rewatching series many many times, Calasans is a beast in closed guard games. He shows many submit, sweep and set up from there. It's amazing that he can transition to attacks uke wherever he wanted such as wristlock(with high percentage ways) arm lock as well as leg locks. Highly reccomended.
