Aaron does a great job of explaining and showing the necessary details for Half Butterfly guard. This is a great instructional for anyone interested in learning the position. If you aren't sure, I would recommend checking out Aaron's YouTube channel. If you like the videos there, then you will love this instructional.

Passing For Chubby Guys by Bernardo Tavolaro
I had never heard of Prof. Tavolaro previous to watching this, but it's an excellent passing instructional. It's got all the classic big guy moves; Over-under, double under, stack pass, leg weave, and so on. As an older, heavier grappler I highly recommend it.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Takedowns for competition BJJ
The Takedown Blueprint by Jimmy Pedro & Travis Stevens
Gold dust! These videos are tailored to demonstrate Judo takedowns with competition BJJ in mind. Some Judo throws expose your own back, however the throws in these videos allow you to land in a dominant position to continue the fight on the ground. Content also explains how to deal with wrestlers on the competition mats.

Historical, technical and down right dirty. Mr. Glover, an OG for those that remember the Glover Travel days. Want to instantly add something to your game? Picked up anything Jeff puts out. There's something about his method that just clicks. Don't hesitate, make this purchase you won't be disappointed.

Catch Wrestling Takedown Solutions by Yuko Miyato
A good video on fundamental Catch Wrestling techniques. As advertised in the title, it's focused mostly on takedowns, but there is a little bit of mat wrestling work as well - focused a bit more on pins than on submissions. The video was filmed in Japanese with an English voiceover translation overdubbed - I strongly prefer this approach to the live translation approach used in Sakuraba's videos with Bernardo Faria and Craig Jones. I would love to see a followup in the future!
Response from BJJ FanaticsThanks! :hugging:Best Guard Passing Video
Systematically Attacking The Guard by Gordon Ryan
Of all the guard passing system videos I seen, this is the best one by far, you will see why he is the best and since this video I have been able to pass every guard player and belt at my school. There is brown belts who guard I couldn't pass and after this video I been able to pass them all. By the end of this video you will be able to pass any guard and know what to do. There is a reason Gordon is the king and this video showing the king's system

Systematically Attacking The Back by Gordon Ryan
This DVD is split into three sections. A control section lasting 4 ½ hours, a finishing/offense section lasting 2 hours, and a sparring / sparring analysis section lasting 1 hour. All for a total of 7 ½ hours. The control section is about countering early and late stage escapes / recovering rear mount. The finishing section shows you specific grip fighting strategies to breakthrough resistance. The production quality is lower than usual (probably due to quarantine.) The audio has a little echo to it, and there is an annoying bright white background screen throughout the DVD. Overall this is a good stand alone instructional and a very good add on to Enter the System. It covers many of the specific issues you’ll encounter that John does not go over in detail. However, I DO NOT RECOMMEND GETTING THIS OVER JOHN’S. John’s DVD has many more concepts and principles that will help you more in the long run, and make this DVD much easier to understand.

High Percentage Chokes: No Gi by Lachlan Giles
As an eager beginner, I've bought a few videos. Lachlan's video is an excellent purchase for the price. He speaks clearly and straight to the point. I really enjoy the way this is set up. He begins by explaining different types of chokes and how to execute them. At the very end, he narrates through his rolls. I've noticed I learn a lot through the narrated rolls. From now on I will not be buying any more videos without rolls being narrated. One of my favorite coach now.
