It's Danaher - So Much Info in a Good Way.
Kimura: Enter The System by John Danaher
Love Danaher, He explains things so well, but also teaches you how to think and approach the submission, a true system. Only at volume 2, but he's already got me thinking differently. Side Note: I messed up on the discount code for St. Patty's, like a *******, didn't realized it after the purchase. Email BJJ Fanatics, they were quick to respond, <24hr, and refund me the purchase. They also gave me a special discount code for the same 27% off, since the St. Patty's day code had expired. They're truly great.
Thumbs up.

Down Under Leg Attacks by Craig Jones
I’ve had these dvds for a little over a week and my leg locks and control of the legs has improved a lot over that short period of time. I was only finishing toeholds mostly and wanted to get better at heel hooks and this is helping me do it for sure. Highly recommend
Two thumbs up (none up the bum)
The Ground Marshal Guard by Neil Melanson
Excellent content. Some rather rare tips on there for a strong game off your back and fairly well complete in terms of allowing for working the tips, techniques and concepts into a broader game.

I appreciate bringing a lot more attention this part of BJJ
Scientific Wrist Destruction by Jamico Elder
Things I loved: 1) Focusing on something very important and effective. It was a great learning experience in less than 1 hour. 2) How he describe breaking people's grips when they are grabbing the label or the sleeves 3) Focus on connection and base. I will have to watch this over and over to layer the information that is less visible. Things that could have been better: 1) An OUTLINE of the locks (e.g. categorizing like Danaher's. 5 different Triangle Chokes) at the beginning (after warmups) 2) Focused zooming in on the wrist and elbow during each demonstration Often, like at 6:49, the gi sleeves are covering what is happening at the wrist. The pressure being applied to the elbow is at times not clear either as anatomy and the pressures are not clearly elucidated. Within the same minute the radius is being pulled apart from the hand and then being forced into the hand then hyperflexed. 3) More detail of what was actually being done after the first lock. Professor elder often demonstrates destruction of the wrist through multiple sequential locks to demoralize the uke. The guys are writhing on the ground and they are tapping as practice partners after the first lock. Then Professor Elder will often do multiple locks after (more practical in a real fight) in the same demonstration. I didn't feel that I understood what was happening after the first lock. As an aside, I was kind of cringing the whole time because both UKE's looked like they were suffering a lot. (I presume it is old school). The amount of pain being inflicted on them often distracted me from the actually technique that was being used.
Not disappointed. Good

Upper Body Takedowns For Grappling by Adam Wheeler
I have to admit as a mainly bjj practioner I was skeptical about getting this DVD because I thought it wouldn't be too applicable to bjj due to not directly grabbing the legs, but after watching a few techniques I am excited to integrate many of these takedowns into my game. He also presents it in a SYSTEMATIC way that chains the moves together so that if one step fails you logically progress to the next step instead of starting over and doing another random move. A lot of DVDs claim to be a "system" but this one, like Danaher's stuff really is a system.
Worth every penny
Triangles Enter The System by John Danaher
Really enjoying this system. I've already started working on the front triangle only (1 of the 5 in the system) So far i've seen a drastic improvement. Cant wait to start working on all 5
Worth the price
Kimura: Enter The System by John Danaher
Awesome video series
Great dvd for beginners!
Magic Guard Passing by Travis Stevens
I like Travis and his straight forward no nonsense teaching style. He cuts through all the b.s. and simplifies the concepts. I’m a fan of all kinds of complicated moves and love to do them in training but as a blue belt, no stripe, his dvds have really helped me with strategy more then moves. Of all the dvds I have and I have a lot, its Travis who’s in my head when I roll! I highly recommend all his dvds.
