New
Octopus Guard 2.0 by Craig Jones
This instructional is the new version of Octopus Guard. For anyone thinking they need to buy the older instructional first, don't. This is the 2.0 version, Craig has adapted the early system to address problems he had (Halfguard is no longer the position to play it from, and they're are gripping differences). I've only watched it once so far, but it seemed like you would fight for a particular position, and then depending on your opponents response you'd do small variation changes. I haven't been able to get to the gym and try it yet, but it seems promising. Octopus isn't really a guard, and seems more like a position that can be accessed from a variety of areas. The only exception being halfguard, the instructional talks about halfguard and how effective it is at pinning, but doesn't really give you any answers for how to deal with it. I think the thought is people will pass to pin positions and that'll allow you to access Octopus. If you're in MMA then you might want to get an additional instructional like (B-Team Bottom Game). Just so you have something in case your opponent uses halfguard to stall out a round.

Sag headlocks fundamentals and finishes
SAG Headlocks Fundamentals and Finishes by Nolan Baker
Great content. Great teachers. Great attitude. They both have so much positive energy. It’s infectious; I want to go out and chuck somebody on the mat. For years, I have trained what they call the Olympic version, with only some success. Can’t wait to start doing their sag headlocks. Fantastic video! I think it’s especially good for older BJJ guys. I’m 61, with many injuries. I don’t want to get hurt or hurt my partner. The sag headlocks let you throw with explosiveness, but without the hard impact of the Olympic version of the throw (like the Judo Koshi Guruma has). Thanks!

Dynamically Taking The Back (Turtle) by Jason Rau
Rau never disappoints
Great Bottom Game Instructional
Just as you'd expect from Craig this instructional is informative and entertaining. It's definitely interesting to see how he approaches guard/turtle/bodylock defense, especially since I've seen almost none of this covered in more traditional jiu jitsu classes

Absolutely Outstanding
Fundamentals & Offensive Closed guard by Alex Smith
Alex is an exceptional instructor. He really takes his time to deconstruct each position, explain WHY you need to do what you’re doing, as well as expertly demonstrating how to do it, as well as a game plan for how and when to implement it! I have Roger’s closed guard instructional and dare I say it, Alex’s is at least as good. Thoroughly impressed and will be looking to purchase everything Alex releases (so please add his other instructional(s) to the daily deals! My new favourite instructor for sure.
