Self Mastery: Solo BJJ Training Drills
Self Mastery: Solo BJJ Training Drills by John Danaher
Professor Danaher lives up to his usual highest of standards for this instructional. His explanations and demonstrations are perfect for those who can't make it to the their local club to train, or for those wanting to nail down the movements behind many of the staple techniques of Jiu Jitsu. This instructional is very well done and worth your study time!
Basics To Advanced: The Half Butterfly Guard
Basics To Advanced: The Half Butterfly Guard by Aaron Benzrihem
I picked up the instructional because I am older and like to play half guard, and wanted an alternative to the knee lever when I screw up and get smashed underneath. The half butterfly is another option for those situations, and I found this instructional to be well organized and a comprehensive resource on the topic. I also thought Mr. Benzrihem is an excellent, well-spoken young instructor and I hope he puts out more instructionals in the future. Highly recommend for those wanting to learn about half butterfly position
Guard retention made easy
Guard Retention Made Easy by Firas Zahabi
Straightforward, efficient instruction on guard retention. Firas does not go into nearly as much philosophy, repetitive angles, different scenarios or the minute level of detail of Danaher, Ryan or even Giles. But, for most students, this instructional is enough to really improve your retention skills. Highly recommended for those working on this part of their game.
