Another Classic!

Another classic from Neil. I have many of Neils instructionals and his approach is so effective and well taught. Perfect for the older grappler.
Amazing Instructor! Love everything he produces!
The Irish Collar by Neil Melanson
Neil is a great instructor. Love everything that he puts out. His book on Triangles is excellent also. People should buy extra copies to save they are that good in case they ever go out of print. Zero criticisms but I do have one request. I've love to see Neil put out either a bundle of work on trapping systems. Or perhaps release a comprehensive series on every trapping system he can think. Some of the most fascinating stuff I have ever seen. Keep it up, Neil! Love your work. Love the personal stories and the humor. Maybe I'll track him down and see if I can train with him some day.

How To Dominate Single Leg X
How To Dominate Single Leg X by Dominique Bell
Dominique Bell does an excellent job of breaking down the nuances of entering, maintaining, and attacking from Single Leg X. What really stands out is his clear, methodical teaching style—he explains not only how to execute a move, but also why it works in a real rolling scenario. His transitions from Single Leg X to sweeps and leg entanglements are practical and battle-tested.

Some fun stuff to try on your frienemy. I always find a ton of fun stuff to try when I watch Dean Lister. I have been watching his stuff since white belt. I appreciate the way he shows what works for him. There is always a ton of information, but it is easy to understand and apply.

High Percentage Chokes: No Gi by Lachlan Giles

Really Good Overall
The Fastest Way: To Become an Effective Guard Passer (No Gi) by John Danaher
This is an amazing instructional for developing your foundation of guard passing understanding. It covers a variety of guard passing strategies, and gives small variations within each style of pass. I will say the bodylock section was a little confusing, Danaher talked about the proper stance in a bodylock but when explaining the variations of bodylocks it didn't look like he used the stance. This led me to having trouble implementing it. The section with hip switch passing (sit-out is what he called it), was an area I also had trouble implementing. The section was much clearer than the bodylock, but I was having a lot of trouble successfully entering the position. Danaher only gave a small note on entering the position. The other areas of the instructional was very good, and I think this is worth a buy. I find myself constantly coming back to this instructional to refine the techniques.
