relatively new white belt and this is very useful.
Easy to understand material, multiple angles of viewing for each technique. A good teacher with expertise. I would buy it again.
An awesome video that shows how to get out from under any pin. Immediate results on the mat...
Super anschaulich erklärt. Sehr detailliert und trotzdem nicht langweilig. Als Beginner habe ich besonders profitiert.
Great as expected
Wicked awesome foundational course in Jiu jitsu with a focus on pin escapes. Danaher doesn’t just tell you what to do, he gives the context, purpose, and bigger picture to everything a beginning grappler needs to know about pins in this instructional. Highly recommended for beginners and anyone who believes that fundamentals are key.
This video series really helped me to elevate my bottom game. His information is detailed and really easy to understand. Typical Danaher lesssons.
Without a doubt, this dvd has completely improved my consistency with escaping. The confidence knowing you can escape will change the way you grapple.
Very detailed as you would expect with any Danaher instructional and has helped me get crushed less and less when rolling with more experienced grapplers.
Watched this series multiple times and am always finding nuggets of gold
This has helped my escapes tremendously. I’m a blue belt but I wanted to polish my defense. Learning these escapes and having confidence in them has changed my game. I feel more confident in taking risks and going for submission without the fear of getting smashed all round.
This has been very useful for me especially in the first sparring I did. John explain enough good and the subtitles are very useful for who don't understand English very well.
These details I have been missing from my game for so long. After going through a video I would put myself in these escape positions in class and I can see the difference in my game!
This is my third Danaher instructional video. He is not only a great student of Bjj but also an exceptional teacher. He has a rational for all that he does based on sound grappling fundamentals. His fundamentals are always energy efficient and applicable for any Bjj player regardless of age or experience. if you want to improve faster, I recommend this video
Everything from Danaher is great and this is no exception!
It is one of my best choice when I was blue belt
Great video
New to BJJ? Then, this is a must-have introduction to the art... Haven't got muscle memory yet? It's heuristic approach is definitely more useful than any other method. I reckon it must be the most useful instructional video for us newbies. Definitely recommended.
Nice work John
John Danaher gives so much important details. It made a huge difference for me.
Definitely helped me with understanding positions from a defensive perspective. I highly recommend!
Super helpful for a beginner or intermediate level, white belt to blue belt. I agree to put the speed at 1.5x! Danaher has a wealth of knowledge and provides it in an easy-to-understand manner. Thanks John and BJJFanatics!
Absolute game changer for me as a beginner. Coach Danaher is excellent at explaining the importance of techniques and following it with an extremely detailed breakdown. His instructionals are amazing!!!
Come on, just start from here. Stop focusing on attacking and start from where you need the most to. DEFEND YOURSELF!
People complain about his detail and his voice.... I love both. Get this if you can!
