Phenomenal instructor!
Great product
Great quality and I’ve seen it help my escapes right away which gives me a lot of confidence for the rest of my game. You can’t graduate from the fundamentals!
Well explained tutorial on escapes. Worth the investment in time and money.
As white belt wanting to advance faster, I couldn’t ask for a better instructor than Danaher! He’s systematic, and I feel like I’ll be watching and re-watching this for years to come.
Die Struktur, die man erhält, wenn man John Danahers Videos studiert ist unglaublich.
A
If you're here and you don't already know about John Danaher it would be weird. The video is everything you could ask for. He explains broad concepts in great detail then explains each step and demonstrates from every angle. All of the "why" is also explained in great detail. Every technique is thoroughly demonstrated with enough repetition that all that's left is for you to practice.
First instructional I purchased and still the one I go back to the most.
This instructionl is excellent if you are a beginner in takedowns and want to understand the fundamental principles and techniques
Side control was my kryptonite for a long time against anyone around my belt level. John has shown me the way!
The information is immediately applicable + the underlying concepts are gold.
A wealth of content that covers all the basics of pin escapes. Have been able to consistently escape from upper belts using the principles taught. Highly recommend this video to anyone starting bjj.
Excellent material….John explains with so much detail. Too many tiny details that make huge difference. I’ve been training for a while and never seen this kind of tutorials …10 stars. I’m saving money for my next John Danaher video.
I really admire Prof. Danaher's teaching style. He breaks very complex jiu-jitsu moves down to easy and understandable ideas. It also helps to take notes as you watch the video to maximize your learning from this instructional.
This turtle instructional contains more than the turtle instructional. But I want to emphasize this turtle instructional is superior to all the other turtle instructionals
John danaher is the best bjj coach ever. This is gold.
This is the number one instructional I would recommend for BJJ beginners. The value you get out of it is insane. Mr Danaher is undoubtedly the greatest BJJ coach of this era and probably one of the greatest sports coaches of all time. Escapes are your most important skill as a beginner and you can learn the concepts and techniques from the best coach in the world. You could easily just buy this instructional and Mr Danaher’s instructionals for half guard and strangles/turtle breakdowns to supplement your classroom training and this will take you from white belt to blue belt. If you master the lessons in these three you will be a damn good blue belt. Thank you Mr Danaher and BJJ fanatics!
I think i learned more about pin escapes with in the first 1,5 hours in this tutorial, than i have ever learned in the past few years! Danahers systematic approach and well tought program is truly a cheat code for faster and better learning! And the quality of his teaching is oit of this world!
It's easy to go for the newer or more advanced options, but phenomenal fundamentals are timeless and I should have purchased this before anything else. No more helplessness.
The quality of these videos and the teaching methods of the master John Danaher are off the chart. For someone like me at the beginning of there BJJ journey these are a game changer. Thank you.
The building blocks of bottom defense and escape
Fantastic video. As an old guy who's just starting BJJ, I wanted to focus on escapes first. This video has great attention to detail, reviewing the moves from multiple angles. More importantly, Danaher shares his philosophy behind the instruction, which I find invaluable. Great value for money.
JD really takes BJJ concepts and makes them understandable for students of other backgrounds such as wrestling.
I am watching this over and over, so clear and detailed. The best
