What I love about this instructional is how concepts talked about in this (utilizing body weight, bone to bone for submissions, applying pressure) can be universal beyond the scarf hold. It's been a really fun twist to add to my game and can definitely catch people off guard!
Great and easy to follow

Fantastic instructional. It's vey cool to be able to tap guys simply with pressure, this will help you big time in your rolls.

I love Kesa Gatame and Josh Barnett is a master. Watch Henry Akins' Soul stealer too, you will became a killer in this position.

Get this video! I was able to immediately use this effective technique and ride system with success! I not only tapped out my gym mates but my wife!

I've always loved this as a pinning position, and this elevates it to a submission position. Awesome.

great!!!
great!!!
Josh is always a top instructor. His catch style and moves are a top reason why my old man jitsu hangs with the kids. The head arm ride brings the control and pressure that I favor. Championship Catch is a must have.

I love this ride, I love these options, and I love the way Barnett breaks it down. This is so effective for all levels, and its a spot that comes up often. Barnett's strategy on when to deploy the subs offered in this course are also really spot on. I

Josh Barnett is dedicated instructor! He provided a great manual on how to look at and how to use kesa gatame - a dynamic ride with great potential to weaken your opponent out until you a tap from it! And of course a bunch of submissions out of by just quite small transitions. He points out really deep and clear how to get, hold and ride the position in general and also while executing pressure taps and other finishes. His instructiond are simple to understand and applicable immediatly! The closed guard scene by the way is about to get to the kesagatame viacheaf and arm pressure pass into the ride! Enjoy the ride! 😉
