Great baby steps to the bjj journey
I loved the translate from bjj techniques to kids games. I have a 4y boy and 2y girl, and both of them quickly understood the dynamics and we enjoy playing and training on daily basis

I bought this after seeing some videos Joel had posted on Facebook about training with your kids. I have started working some things with my 3 year old son and he is having a blast! His attention span is short and it doesn't take long before he wants to do something else but I can already tell he has learned a lot from it. Joel gives you several games to play so you can transition from one to another to keep them interested. It's really crazy how quickly children can pick things up, it didn't take long of playing the Cobra game before my son realized that he has to control my arm by grabbing it high up near the wrist rather than low near the elbow. Eventually, on his own, he realized if he got is legs involved and extended, he could really lock my arm down tight. It's very interesting to watch them grow and figure things out on their own, and it's lot of fun in the process! TL;DR I highly recommend.

Hey Joel, I just wanted to give you a heads up, just now I was taking a break from work and playing with my kids, and I did that drill you showed about being in mount with your kid on bottom, I did that with my almost 3 year old and told him to escape, like you showed in your video, my 3 yr old was naturally shrimping. I never showed him how to shrimp. Thank you so much... I also did it with my 4 yr old and I did the airplane flip game also with both of them and they loved it. Thank you

Even before lockdown I was looking for BJJ games to play with my 8 year old son that focused on having fun, while teaching skills. Joel Bouhey nails it with this production. Basic skills are introduced in such a way that the youngsters don't realise they're learning, and they want to do more! That is the mark of a great teacher. I hope he will follow up with another soon.

I just bought the instructional and my daughter already loves it! We’re going to do that for her PE every day. If the first day is any indicator, RIP my arm. She’s gonna become a killer.

The timing of this release couldn’t get any better with quarantine going on and trying to keep the family active while in lockdown. Each section gives a fun and unique way for my son to develop the movements and motions without realizing that he is actually learning. This is such a great way to share our love for the art with the whole family. Awesome job Joel Bouhey on creating such a unique and fun program.

Great for everyone, whether it's just the parent who trains or just the child, Joel offers very fun practical games that everyone can do. I've spent all morning with my 4 year old daughter going through these and she can't stop smiling. You can see how happy Joel and his daughters really are as they go through each drill and the passion he teaches with is definitely coming through with both his girls.

I was particularly excited about this series when it was announced. The techniques connect well with those that my son learned in class, though, will work perfectly well for an untrained kid also. It is a ton of fun and perfect for the quarantine
