Great instructional! Concept views and explanation are very detailed. The videos shows gui’s extra ordinary well detailed instructions and visual into the way he teaches jiujitsu
good video!
Same as the other Coach Mendes video from guard, you must have this
Great instructional with great details and concepts
Systematic learning by a genius.
👍
Passing for me was always a feeble attempt without any actual strategy to pass. The content by Gui Mendes took my passing to another level. I continue to watch this to help me study the different distances from the top to get the pass.
The videos is systematic to understand. It can cover from the beginners to the experts. Gui is not only the best athlete but also the best instructor ever I met. I highly recommend this video to all who want to develop top game than before.
Love this!
The drills at the end are super useful! Connecting concepts and techniques like I haven’t seem before! Can’t recommend this enough🙏
Amazing applicable techniques for all Belt levels! The details are second to none. Must have instructional!
Very well explained, very technical, improved my passing and controling straight away! Recommend 110%!
It is great. High level guard instruction. Video and audio very good…The white background is AWSOME.
Really liked the concepts that were taught by Gui. The differences in distance was a new way of looking at bjj and a great way at organizing passing.
This is a fantastic instructional. I highly recommend it.
Exactly what you would expect out of a Mendes/AOJ DVD. Great content and highly useful. Highly recommend it.
Great curation and concepts
This was a solid purchase. Definitely more conceptual than an assortment of novel techniques, but a great overview of how to structure your passing at the 3 distances and combine loose/speed passing with tight kneecuts, side smashes, and longsteps. The drills section with Cole on the second DVD provides a good assortment of applications and variations of techniques demonstrating the concepts.
Very clear, great transitions
This instructional was detailed and eye-opening. Professor Gui broke down 3 positions (far, medium, and near distances) and showed effective concepts/techniques on how to approach each position. He used live sparring videos to explain his own thought process of how he applied each concept/technique. He also broke down his student's competition videos on how they used these concepts/techniques.
This video is perfect for developing a winning mindset while trying to pass a guard. The concepts in this video help you develop a game plan for passing far, middle, and near.
This instructional is phenomenal! A lot of these are techniques I currently use, and a lot of practitioners currently use, however Gui provides the extra details and connections that make all the difference.
The video is awesome, we usually have videos describing techniques but far fewer regarding concepts and strategies. Guilherme is awesome explaining the concepts, me and my professor are enjoying despite the langage and the lack of subtitles (but I am fluent in english). BRAVO!
One of the best instructional i came across. Very good details.
i have been a huge fans of the mendes bros since i started training. I have been waiting for them to have instructionnals and they do not dissapoint! This is worth the money with the explications and analysis alone, even without the techniques.
