H. A. created one of his best and most important instructionals. He mainly shows how to pin someone in the most efficient and effective way. He also shows how to deal/collapse frames in this manner. Furthermore he shows how to shut down escape and reversal/sweep attempts by distributing weight and how to buy you time to set up your escaoes. It is based on principles and concepts in a way that it is easy apply to various situations. Highly recommend!

If you've followed Rickson Gracie and Henry Akins at all, you will not be mind blown by anything in this instructional. It delivers the methods described in the table of contents with no surprises. If you have not paid attention to Rickson's methods (as Henry Akins teaches them) yet, you will find some very useful material in this set.

This has to be one of my favourite instructional, just because it's so clear, clever and effective. I have immediately noticed an improvement in my Jiu-Jitsu, and more importantly so have my opponents.

As a blackbelt, i love when i run into material that truly improves a part of my game. Weight distribution is a large part of BJJ, and rarely taught in detail like this. It's so important, especially after 45 years old. get this instructional, apply the techniques and work toward "sustainable BJJ" AS YOU GET OLDER! Thank you Henry!
