Excellent overview of technique but
Real Catch Wrestling For The Street by Tony Cecchine
Excellent overview of technique but could have used a bit more content through to chaining techniques. These could have been shown while in various positions and if you lose them. I'd like to see where future videos go though, this was a good warm up.

Move better and feel better
Movement for Grappling by Scott Georgaklis with Travis Stevens
There are a lot of useful drills in this series. Personally, I think the material could have been presented in a more specific and concise way.

It was a good instruction, wish sound quality was a lil better

Wrist Lock The World by Pete Letsos
I expected more out of this video. Personally, I would skip it.

The Daisy Fresh Knee Slice by Andrew Wiltse
I didn't "get" the knee cut pass before watching this but stuff Andrew covers here definitely helped me understand it more.

Kimura Domination by Tom DeBlass
Some good details on finishing kimuras here but I would have preferred a more in depth discussion of finding kimuras from other positions as well as using it as a positional control

Darces From Everywhere by Kade & Tye Ruotolo
I was hoping for much more, not up to the standard and detail of other similar priced instructionals in my opinion.

Gangster Grappling by Chael Sonnen
It feels short compared to others for some reason. Great stuff and easy to slowly implement but still feels a little rushed
Interesting
Muay Thai Fundamentals by Rafael Cordeiro
The Course cover basic concepts - is called Fundamentals for a reason, but maybe I had set my expectations a little high. Despite this, I've learned a considerable amount of new things. Very interesting the Sparring session
Some good pointers.
Total Striking Control by Alex "Po Atan" Pereira
Decent instructional
Cool but not great
The BJJ Warm Up You'll Never Skip by Vanessa Pinkham
There's some good moves and ideas for sure that you can implement to your daily life and your warm ups, aswell as gain some knowledge but overall I'm not a huge fan of this one to do before a training or workout session.

Mastering The Head and Arm by Joel Tudor
Some good information here. Preferred other head and arm purchases on BJJF because of the details they go into. He shows the moves but I feel like skips over a bunch of the details and setups to pull them off. Still enjoyed it and learned a bunch.

Interesting but not in any great depth
Gripping Workshop: The Ultimate Study by Neil Adams
These videos are priced at a point that makes them very hard to recommend. Although Neil Adams is an absolute authority on judo, the videos lack detail and readily implementable systems. There were some interesting points regarding bear hugs and the Korean grip, but these weren't explored at length.
Good for beginners that know nothing.
Getting Swole As A Grappler by Gordon Ryan
If you have an understanding of nutrition and working out there isn’t a lot you will get from this. I didn’t like that his sponsors had a part in the series. It seemed more like a beginners guide. But I could see this helping someone just getting started.
On the one hand, a
Wrestling For BJJ by Jeff Glover
On the one hand, a lot of information about the use of single leg in various situations on the mat. On the other hand, I did not like using a completely novice partner for the presentation, which forced Jeff Glover to interrupt the presentation of the right techniques and teach the falling technique. Additionally, the insertions regarding fancy BJJ techniques with no relation to the techniques taught was a waste of time in my opinion.

Great content 100% but it is so repetitive.
No Gi Berimbolo System Part 1 by Mikey Musumeci
Mikey just repeats himself so much. This instructional could be so much shorter… he repeats things over and over so much it’s insane. Great content 100% but chill on the repetitiveness
Super interesting technics useful that
Super interesting technics useful that serve as a « plus » to the standard ones taught for avoiding or escaping from mount. But it requires practice in order to feel when it should be applied.

Very interesting for something to add to your leg lock arsenal. Video is easy to watch.

Interesting concept however the quality and delivery of the content is pretty poor. I'm going to give the training a shot but not expecting miracles.

Good details, poor execution
Mastering Guillotine Concepts and Principles by Karel "Silver Fox" Pravec
While this instructional has good details, the information is presented in a way that makes it very hard to follow. While it is still a good instructional with solid details, the information could be presented in a more organized, structured manner too make it easier to digest.

Getting Swole As A Grappler by Gordon Ryan
To be honest, I was a little disappointed in the end of this course. I really like Gordon as a Grappler and his development in terms of strength are exceptional. In the course he shows all the excercises he does, gives a bunch of supplements and a mindset part. It is interesting but I miss a structured workout or more on the way he trains (how many reps etc).

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Uncle Chael Is Back to Work
The Winning Fundamentals Of MMA by Chael Sonnen
A lot of the material within this instructional is already included in Sonnen's Gangster Grappling video...considering this, there are several little tricks and tips that is reviewed in this instructional that aren't included in the Gangster Grappling video that I found helpful. Overall, I would say for the price point its a nice instructional; however, if you already have Sonnen's GG instructional it isn't worth the extra bits of info. As always, its nice to get new material from The Gangster.

Make Closed Guard your arsenal with this instructional
The Closed Guard by Bernardo Faria
Overall, I think this is a good instructional. I won't go through the list of things you will get to learn from Bernardo, as you can find them listed on the page itself. What I like about this instructional: - Bernardo explains it very simply in a way that I think most people would be able to understand. This is key as I think not all experts are good teachers and Bernardo Faria is a good teacher. - The list of techniques shared will make your Closed Guard game dangerous to your opponent. However, the techniques are not just taught in isolation. I like that there are links between the techniques and Bernardo explains "what happens when this fail; how do you transition to another sweep or submission if this doesn't work" etc. - Bernardo goes over the little details to make sure viewers know how to do it right. For example, in Straight Overhook Choke, he talks about how instead of just pressing the forearm into our opponents' neck, the detail is to move the elbow closer to our opponents' chest (if I remember it correctly). I appreciate details like these as I believe little nuances like these make all the difference. What I think can be improved: - The camera angles can definitely be improved. While I appreciate that Bernardo tries and move around so that the camera can capture what is going on "on the other side" of things, I still think there are nuances not completely captured properly which is a pity. - No subtitles when I view on demand. Would really appreciate it as I sometimes view the video while accompanying my daughter to sleep and it can be hard to follow properly as I can't really turn the volume up. Finally, while he talked about how to counter some of the attempts to open up closed guard, I would appreciate it more if he goes into slightly more details on these as well as teaching more counters. I like those as it was precisely what my partners have been doing to me, so now I can think about how to implement his teaching to counter. However, this may not be a fair comment as it may not have been Bernardo's intention to address these in this instructional. So, this is purely my own thoughts. Overall, I would recommend this instructional to anyone who is looking to make their Closed Guard more dangerous.
Great instructional! But can’t download
The Coyote Half Guard by Lucas Leite
This is a great instructional on half guard. Clear & simple instructions although video angle isn’t always optimal. The video is 5 stars. I rated 3 stars cause I can’t download - I contacted BJJ Fanatics for help with no reply.

Good Content but With Major Issues
Mastering The Mount by Matt Thornton
Pros: This video series DOES have content that I, as a black belt, have not seen taught before. It has already made my mount top maintenance (staying on top in mount and not getting escaped upon) about 3-5x better. Very legit content. Cons: It appears that something happened when BJJFanatics uploaded this content from SBG; the video quality is compressed, with what appears to be super slow framerate and audio synching issues. Comparing this to one of SBG's videos on Youtube is night and day: the Youtube videos are actually far better quality than what I paid BJJFanatics for. Another issue is that the chapter descriptions are misleading. One chapter is called "Taking the back" but it is LITERALLY just copied/pasted content from earlier in the video series, with nothing new, and actually ZERO INFORMATION on taking the back! Was this an editing, or uploading error? I don't know, but it sucks to be mislead like that and not learn how to take the back from mount when it says that you will. One more issue is that for the amount of content, a good portion of it is simply Matt's student's drilling the moves, or drilling escape moves that have zero bearing on the theme of the video series. I can think of one instance in the video series where one of Matt's students applies the technique incorrectly, he corrects her and then the move works. That was a good inclusion but 90% of the other drilling video material was useless. Overall I would say that this video series was a good purchase but it could have been formatted way better, content and quality-wise.

Pretty Decent
The Darce Killer by Malachy Friedman
The instructor has some pretty good escapes compiled but I wish there was more explanation as to why he does things the way he suggests. It would be helpful to have a little more concepts concerning how the different chokes are applied, main focal points of defending them and then some explanations of why he escapes certain ways.
