Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Pleasantly Surprised by the New Possibility
Gabe has a little bit of a different philosophy on the kimura. He doesn't want to pursue the actual submission. Instead, he wants to transition the kimura lock into other positions that he feels offer superior control. His primary transition is not the back take like so many other instructors recommend. Instead, he likes to convert his kimura lock into a crucifix. I had never considered this possibility before watching this instructional and I was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely worth the price of admission and will broaden your understanding of the kimura.

Definitely recommended for those of you who like to torture your opponents into giving up the pass

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Really Interesting Philosophy
Wrist Locks Revealed by Matt Arroyo
Matt Arroyo takes the most effective wrist lock techniques out of hundreds and narrows them down. Afterwards, he shows how to chain wristlocks with a host of other submissions. This enables you to get a wristlock to salvage another lost submission, or inversely, to go for the wristlock first because it's less risky and use a different submission as a backup plan. Basically, the wristlock can be used as a supplement to attack and increase your submission percentage. This was an eye opening philosophy for sure, and I thank the instructor for the insights.
