Zone Jiu-Jitsu Connecting Pin Escapes with Half Guard Sweeps by Paul Schreiner
This is a very good instructional. Paul Schreiner is very good at breaking things down and explaining the technical details. I've been drilling the primary sweep along with the escapes that lead to the sweep with my training partner in the order of the instructional, and it's relatively easy to implement when rolling. This is really an "80/20" to escapes and Half Guard. I have also been working on the Danaher pin escape system, which contains more options of escape and more positions, but Schreiners system is much simpler and easy to implement in the short span. I'd still recommend both systems, but if I were to do it again, I would start with Schreiner's system and build upon it with Danaher's.

I was a bit skeptical at 1st, but being the small guy that I am, I needed a reliable way to get from bottom position to the top. I already knew the hip bump sweep but I was rarely successful with it. Ryan highlights various aspects of the movement that are key to actually being able to complete it without getting smashed back down to the mat. I've never been so confident in my hip bumping ability and I actually look forward to being in closed guard now so it was well worth the price for me.

I've learned personally from Charles and I cannot recommend this instructional enough. Do you remember how much your game opened up when you learned leglocks? Inversions will do the same. It's not just another movement, it's an entirely new way of rolling. Every submission has a new entry when considered inverted, every position a new direction to go in. And there's no better teacher for this than Charles. Not only will he break down every aspect of this movement so that it's easy to understand but he'll also emphasizes what's necessary for you to do this motion safely. The man is a movement freak. He'll randomly do Capoeira backflips when you roll with him. Absolute madman and spectacular professor.

Galvao is not only one of the greatest bjj competitors of all time, he also is one of the most proficient teachers out there. His instruction is very detailed. One can easily grasp why atos is that successful. Normally I am an over under passer. I was looking for a video to fill the gap, when someone pushes me away while passing. I know that the door ble under pass is a very strong pass from over under but I never knew the details how to make it work against a high level opponent. Thank to Andre I know how to apply the right pressure from double unders. Double under is becoming more and more a favorite pass of mine.

T. and E. created a great open guard series which first introduces you to the positions by pointing out the core concept and keyfacts of colar and sleeve and DLR. Then they build up main attacks and follow ups based on given reactions. They start qith sweeps followed by submussion attacks and/or backtakes. Well combined with X Guard.
