Great instructional — highly recommend.
New Wave Foot Sweeps For Lazy People by Satoshi Ishii
I picked this up while it was on sale and ended up grabbing his New Wave Judo as well because of how helpful this one was. Even though his English isn’t perfect, he does an excellent job demonstrating the techniques and clearly explaining the “why” behind them — which is what really matters. My judo has improved tremendously since studying this. I usually watch 2–4 sections ahead before class, drill those concepts during training, and then continue progressing through the instructional. That approach has made it extremely valuable for me. If you want practical, effective sweeps that actually work, this is it.

Great lapel attacks
The Gregorian Lapel Submissions System by Greg Hamilton
This instructional has fantastic techniques to attack with the lapel. This was a fantastic instructional for me to start attacking with the lapels. As an older smaller/weaker guy in the gym, these techniques helped me win against bigger higher belts. Love how sneaky these attacks are.
A great addition to any half guard game
Octopus Guard Engineering by Adam Wardzinski
Octopus guard is a great alternative to the classic underhook + dogfight bottom half guard that everyone learns. It keeps your opponent guessing so you can stay on the offensive. Wardzinski is thorough and doesn't get caught up in the minutiae.
Excellent
Shin To Shin: The Hidden Guard by Aaron Benzrihem
A great video on shin to shin. Wished it include counters to more reactions e.g., opponent stepping back with the free leg (not long step) or preventing opponent from leg pummeling to step inside. Overall, still a good buy. Learnt useful tips and sweeps.
some new concepts
Gringo Guard Passing Knee Shield by Faris Ben-Lamkadem
really liked his approach to hand pinning to start the pass. As he said, a common tech used by the pros but not mentioned much. Worth it for this alone

Brutal. Y comprobado en sparring.
great video
Classic Open Guard by Lucas Valente
This is a really excellent concept based DVD. I'm a small guy, not particularly talented and I've been able to implement a good chunk of it in live rolling

Flexibility Routine For Older Grapplers by Steven Cotter
Great explanation of flexibility as “a skill you can develop because it’s an ability.” Steven is very matter of fact and goes step by step. I’ve found all the stretches to be highly effective for my BJJ training. I like how he incorporates martial arts philosophy into the routine.

Beginner friendly but builds well
Craig Jones Mini Product The Reach Around AKA Octopus Guard by Craig Jones
Before starting this course, I knew nothing about Octopus Guard. It was a great entry level introduction, Craig explains things clearly and focuses on the important concepts without getting lost in too much detail. Even though it’s beginner friendly, the concepts he covers give you room to build on. When I tried things in class and didn’t get them right, I could come back to the core concepts and understand what I needed to work on. I learned a lot in a short amount of time.
Thorough and Easy to Digest
High Percentage Chokes: No Gi by Lachlan Giles
Great course, it covers a lot of useful detail, including small points that really make a difference. I love the length, you don’t have to commit full days to get through it, and he packs a lot of value into a short amount of time.

The Python Back Triangle
The Python Back Triangle by Michael Chu
Mastery is when one takes complexity and simplifies it. That's exactly what Mike did with his instructional on the back triangle. Upon purchasing, buyers can expect a volume series packed with videos explaining the dominance of the back triangle in various positions. It pretty much covers every position where the back triangle can exist and dominate using body positioning, gravity, and the forces we apply when rolling. Purchasing Mike's video series on the back triangle gives viewers the opportunity to learn easily from a veteran practitioner's refined craft from years of discipline in bjj. I'm looking forward to implementing these techniques in my next training session!
Half Guard: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
Really enjoy Danaher’s instructional's as I feel he breaks down positions and explains the reasoning behind everything very well. No different for this half guard series
