Train Safe: Reducing The Risk of Injury Accidents In The Jiu Jitsu Training Room by John Danaher
What else can be said about Professor Danaher. The information and material he provides is an invaluable resource to all Jiu-Jitsu players. (I call him JayDee when I have imaginary jiu-jitsu conversations with him). The fact that he released two free instructionals must mean that he really cares about the growth of jiu-jitsu as a whole.

Professor Telles shows the versatility of the turtle position. He shows a solid game plan to keep your back safe while transitioning out of turtle and be offensive at the same time, which makes turtle guard a fun position to play. Thanks Professor for the knowledge :call_me_hand:

Power Ride: A New Philosophy on Pinning by Craig Jones
I like the way Craig teaches. This is more of a new concept to BJJ that is more control oriented than points. Its definitely something I'm going to have work on. I have already seen some of this in use from one of our better MMA guys who was a former All American wrestler. Definitely techniques worth learning as it would probably improve everyone's bjj.

Awesome instructional. Coach Neil shows you everything you could want from the cradle position. Practicing these moves and drilling them with partners is awesome. Even as a white belt it gave me something I could do and threaten things with my partners where I normally would go to a different position. There are tons of setups and finishes on this series. Everything by Coach Melanson is awesome that I have purchased so far.

Pin Escapes & Turtle Escapes: BJJ Fundamentals - Go Further Faster by John Danaher
This was probably one of the first instructionals I purchased on BJJ Fanatics and the one most worth my money. John Danaher adresses a beginner's main problem when starting- being stuck in different kinds of pins. Once again he offers a systematical approach instead of just showing a bunch of escapes without any connection between them. A must have for everyone who wants to up their game in the beginning and never fear getting stuck again.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Excellent material
Leglocks: Enter The System by John Danaher

A must own
New Wave Jiu Jitsu: A New Philosophy Of Positional Escapes by John Danaher
Witout a doubt a prerequisite for anyone who wants to do NOGI. Something you can refer to over and over again, over months and years. Whether to use as a tool for drilling, calrity in central problems, or even if you want to refine your attacks offensively; you need this instructional. Can not reccomend this instructional. One of my peronal favouites and one of Johns better ones, which is saying something.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:So cool to learn from the legend

New Wave Jiu Jitsu: A New Philosophy Of Positional Escapes by John Danaher
As a white belt, I often find myself pinned but johns philosophy of quick counter attacks has really helped me. The video is also really good for helping to understand how to get out of pesky body triangles.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Significantly improved my game
Plan B From Closed Guard by Valerio Mori Ubaldini
Professor Valerio is extremely thorough in explaining the “how and why” of all techniques in this course. This course captures the essence of being able to truly flow between techniques seamlessly. Do not be fooled by the title: in this course you will learn Plan B, Plan C, Plan X, Y, Z. The instructor is no ordinary Professor; he has studied under some of the most impressive names from Gracie Barra and is an extremely accomplished champion in the tournament world. This video series is crisp and clear, giving students confidence on the mat. Tired of panicking or forgetting your training in the heat of battle? This tutorial is like plugging into the Matrix.

Submission Escapes by Tom DeBlass
This is the video I would always come back to my first few months of jiu jitsu. It has really helped, people always tell me how annoying it is to try and catch me in armbars and triangles.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:High Level and Not Drawn Out
The Anti-Wrestling Equation by Craig Jones
Fun watch and covers a good amount of areas. It's to the point, while still maintaining both conceptual and technical information.

Precise Side Control & Knee On Belly Attacks by Lucas Lepri
This instructional teaches attacks commencing from side control top and knee on belly for the GI. Additionally, two chapters are included that teach how to maintain knee on belly and side control positions. A broad range of submissions (i.e., various chokes, triangles, armbars, monoplata, kimura, opportunistic wristlocks and multiple entries to the back) are included in this instructional with the majority the techniques focused on commencing from side control. Lucas Lepri does utilise the lapel in many of his techniques and I mention this as some people like to use their own or the opponent’s lapel and others not so. Generally, when a technique is taught, options or variations are also taught, often depending on the possible actions of the opponent. Importantly, techniques are taught from a strong position of control and during the application of the technique a focus is on maintaining solid control. Lucas Lepri is a very experienced instructor and successful competitor. His instructions are clear and understandable. He highlights the important little details of each technique. I like that when explaining e.g., where to put a foot, he explains why this must be done in a particular way and the consequence if it is not done as described. Lucas Lepri teaches a pathway and shows that when one way is blocked there is another way to get a submission. Demonstrations are clear and as is the norm these are repeated from different angles to the camera. I like that the instructor and uke are wearing different coloured GIs, as this makes it easier to clearly see the instructor’s limbs. It is an instructional that can be watched multiple times and there is no unnecessary banter. This instructional has a total runtime of 2 hours and 7 minutes. The instructional has been filmed with a fixed camera. I am not sure of what happened with the filming as in Part 1 the quality of the video, including range and sound is very good. For the other three parts the quality of the video, including range and sound declines (e.g., obvious unnecessary camera movement, minor noise from the camera operator and the camera seems to be further from the participants noting the impact on the range and quality of the sound recording). Still Ok, but not as good as Part 1. The technique preview is from Part 4 (i.e., the chapter on side control concepts) so you can confidently judge the quality of the video and sound. In summary, this is a good instructional to purchase if you are wishing to improve your submission techniques commencing from either side control or knee on belly. I think it is good that techniques are taught in a setting where control is the key focus and acknowledging that the opponent may block a particular path, so you need to be able to change direction to reach your goal.
