Train With Your Kids Volume 2 by Joel Bouhey
This is a great concept that can be applied to bjj or music or whatever activity you do ith your kid. And honestly.. For me as a parent and bjj/judo-fanatic its a great way to establish these sports as a weekly/daily routine in the "family culture". We have had 2 years or nogi/gi training togheter and while my 5 year old would not often confess it is fun to train his laughter during actual training "sells him out", so we continue :)

Travis Stevens is such a great producer in his instructional. I can sometimes appreciate Danaher aswell but Travis have a nudge more towards the practical - straight to it - that I like. Im only 1 volume in, but I know Im returning to this one for a loooong time forward.

Actually, I was not sure If I should buy this instructional, because the table of content does not look as well and structured as on the other Lachlan Giles instructionals like his Half Guard or Passing Anthology. But this series is amazing. I just started drilling these and the techniques and follow up techniques are amazing and structured well. I would definitely recommend this dvd.

The Ultimate Rubber Guard by Eddie Bravo
I’ve watched this instructional the most out of all the instructional videos that I own. I think rubber guard is often looked over as a bunk technique, but I’ve used this instructional to teach myself and others and many of my students have taken a liking to Rubber Guard and it has excelled their game. Not a 10P guy myself, but I think top level guys like Eddie have just as much to share and learn from as the other guys. In terms of rubber guard, don’t knock it till you try it!

Guard Retention Anthology Bundle by Lachlan Giles & Ariel Tabak
I bought only Around n Under the Legs. It was great value for money purchase. It has many hours of excellent instructions from 2 instructors not 1. Many techniques are carefully covered and a great summary provided at critical junctures to recap what has been taught. U can tell they have put in a great deal of effort into this video. Very well structured to facilitate learning. Plus they included footage of rolling to illustrate how the techniques were applied in practice. Impressed.

The Half Guard Anthology by Lachlan Giles
Lachlan does an amazing job of breaking down half guard in this institutional, it is long but he does give a PSA to use it more like an encyclopedia and reference it for particular questions. Honestly it’s great and he does a great job. When I need to teach half guard I refer to this instructional for most of my information.

This was a solid purchase. Definitely more conceptual than an assortment of novel techniques, but a great overview of how to structure your passing at the 3 distances and combine loose/speed passing with tight kneecuts, side smashes, and longsteps. The drills section with Cole on the second DVD provides a good assortment of applications and variations of techniques demonstrating the concepts.
